We're a little over a year from a special forces operative writing a tell on killing bin laden but somehow tens, if not hundreds of thousands of (presumably) unsophisticated minority voters are engaged in massive coordinated voter fraud without one of them being high as hell or needing a cop a plea and telling youtube/a cop/a friend/a reporter/****ing anyone while coordinated with Clancy-novelesque level secrecy that apparently the ****ing guys who killed Bin Laden couldn't maintain

alrighty

We registered almost 10,000 voters yesterday in Florida. They said it was the highest one day total any state had ever seen.

The GOP voter fraud thing is blowing up down here. It's spread to 10 counties at least and they're tracking down hundreds of forms that they think are fraudulent.

The funniest part about it is one of the new requirements the GOP FL Legislature put on the forms is that all 3rd party registers have to get forms from the Supervisor of Elections that have unique group IDs along with numbered individual forms. So now they can go back and look at all the forms this group turned in very very easily.

Mississippi NAACP leader sent to prison for 10 counts of voter fraud

Sowers was found guilty of voting in the names of Carrie Collins, Walter Howard, Sheena Shelton, Alberta Pickett, Draper Cotton and Eddie Davis. She was also convicted of voting in the names of four dead persons: James L. Young, Dora Price, Dorothy Harris, and David Ross.

I'd point out the GOP firm registering fake people and/or updating random people with fake addresses (which could prevent them from voting) in HUNDREDS of cases, but LDO that's not a big deal since they're not black, right?

Ignoring the rest of the idiocy in this post, from your own story:

In a story ignored by the national media, in April a Tunica County, Miss., jury convicted NAACP official Lessadolla Sowers on 10 counts of fraudulently casting absentee ballots.

BTW, in case you missed it:

In Florida, a state with new ID laws, you can register to vote, request an absentee ballot, and vote by mail without ever showing an ID. That type of fraud isn't stopped by forcing people to get IDs.

This is outrageous if true.

How do you request a ballot? Does it have to be mailed to your address or do you just pick one up in person without anyone, anywhere knowing who you are?
09-30-2012 , 09:33 PM
You fill out a mail ballot request form. As long as your registered they'll send it to you. They verify them by making sure the signatures match.

You can register with the last 4 of your social, no ID needed and they don't require ID for the mail ballot request form.

ETA: If you go pick one up (a ballot) it's like early voting and you'll have to show your ID but if they mail it to you then no one ever has to check an ID. The people registering you don't have to look at an ID.

How is this outrageous? This is how I'll be voting this year:
http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/elepd...tee_ballot.pdf

What alternate scenario have you imagined that allows me to vote when I'm thousands of miles from the place I am legally registered?

This was out last week, some girl in Colorado registering only Romney supporters who says she was working for the County Clerk's office...

Turns out she was working for the Nathan Sproul Strategic Allied Consulting outfit...

---- Dude is a piece of work. If you go down the well on that story it goes everywhere. The Ron Paul folks were heavily bitching about that guy as recently as the AZ primaries. Almost exact same allegations in 2010, 2008, and 2004, heh.

Did you ever have to show ID to register? I think it's outrageous that you can register to vote without any ID, then send in absentee ballots with no ID. No identification ever taking place at any point in the process is crazy, imo.

Most people don't know someone else's social security numbers or how to match their signature.

Dude, you're gonna be super pissed when I tell you that I personally knock on peoples' doors and register them to vote without checking anything at all. I'm even doing it in a swing state, and I'm partisan. How mad are you now?

That's the same group that's in trouble here in Florida. They're tracking down all their forms (they're all stamped with their ID number) to see how many were fake/forged. So far they've found a couple hundred in 10 counties.

I do this for THE campaign in a SWING state.

So someone checks every ballot for legit SSN's and sig's? If so, I guess that's not so bad, but still sloppy imo.

Uh... yea. You think they just enter Mickey Mouse with a fake address and ID # into the computer and send out a card??

That's how the GOP group got caught down here. A worker entering the data notice the signatures/writing on 106 forms were all very similar and when checking the addresses found them to be fake, or that of gas stations/stores/etc.

Haha yes, that's what I was afraid of.

Nice. Good to know that there are some safeguards in place somewhere.

Some gold from the Porsche forum I post on. They really don't like having it pointed out that their fear of a gigantic conspiracy by welfare cheats to steal elections is illogical for all the reasons that have been pointed out here over and over. To say the jimmies get rustled easily is an understatement. What's especially amusing is how often I have been accused of being racist by obvious racists.

Oh I missed this gem. WTF does having an ID have to do with intelligence? And why are you guys so eager to pin these bizarro beliefs on me when I've said nothing of the sort? Believe it or not poor people don't have a lot of **** that the average poster on a Porsche forum takes for granted and the ability to easily get an ID when you don't already have one is one of them.

Quote:
Bull****, they don't seem to have a problem getting down to the welfare office, the SSI office or any other place that will give them free money.

Disenfranchised my ass, Dems don't want anything in the way of the dead or illegal voting. Just admit it

I agree with you, there is no widespread organized voting fraud conspiracy.

However, I don't understand what your point is. Clearly, the intent of the law is for all adult American non-felon citizens to be able to vote. Why exactly is the desire to support this law somehow partisan?

On another note, while I support your right to post your opinions, I personally find your racism offensive. The fact that you don't realize that you are posting racist comments makes it worse. I could spell out how your concerns over voter fraud require that you believe that "brown" people are, by definition, less intelligent than "white" people. I could even point out that the willful desire by some politicians to intentionally avoid requiring ID while voting is in itself a cynical and racist assumption as to who would be involved. But I won't bother because your defense mechanisms are obvious and on display. Turn that superior wit you seem to believe you possess back onto your posts and see if you can better yourself. Perhaps then you can add something useful to the conversation.

Whats 'Interesting' is why Democrats are so vehemetly against it? Don't they believe in Fair Elections too?

Heck, shouldn't they be interested in stopping Republican Voter Fraud also?

Hell, if I can't be trusted to pour Gasoline out of a Gas can without a New Mandated EPA Approved Spillproof Gizmo Spout, (that dosen't work) why should I be trusted to Vote only once?

Check my ID, I don't have a problem with it, and also check Jose's ID... I do have a problem with an Illegal Voting in our Elections... I'll bet if Callyfornia had Voter ID, a Republican might have a chance at winning that State... Oh God forbid huh?

Really, it should be an IQ check, because some folks don't have the sense to pour piss out of a boot with the instructions on the heel... They shouldn't have any say in who is gonna give them the most Money/Benefits stolen from someone else...

The best reasons Democrats whine about a Voter ID is because they can get away with calling Poor Blacks Dumbasses to their face, and it's their intention to cheat...
