Pretty much every poll has the Ossoff/Handel race extremely close, which is to be expected at this point.

WSB-TV (Atlanta ABC affiliate) conducted a poll which said the same, but I thought this part in the AJC article about it was interesting:

I'm hoping this means that even if Ossoff loses, I will see a Democrat come out of this district in my lifetime.

3 out of 4 districts in Kansas are very winnable.

East Cobb here. I was all set to vote for Handel until I read about her views on gay marriage. And she doesn't even have a normal family herself. What a phony

The state senate race was mostly east cobb which vastly differs from this upcoming house race, which is east cobb + lots of areas of marietta/etc not as wealthy in addition to more liberal wealthy areas. I see about 50/50 ossoff and handel signs in yards, and I'm smack in the middle of Kay Kirpatrick east cobb. I think ossoff will win.

Yeah, I'm in East Cobb, too, and didn't think Triebsch had much of a chance because of the makeup of the state Senate district.

One thing I find interesting just from an optics perspective is that Ossoff carries himself so much better than Handel. He repeats meaningless bull**** a lot ("I'll reach across the aisle" type of stuff), but he much less combative and much more professional-appearing than Handel. She constantly attacks him, even if a question she's asked doesn't lend itself to that (and there's virtually nothing to attack him on), whereas he tends to stick to talking about what he wants to accomplish.

And I don't know if it was a good move or not, but there was definitely a difference in optics between the two at a Memorial Day festival in Roswell when she campaigned the whole time and didn't campaign at all.

I wish he would stop wearing suits all the time, though. You're at an outdoor holiday festival - wear something more appropriate.

No, dude. Just vote for Ossoff. He will listen to smarter Democrats and be a check against the evil / idiotic agendas of the President, Freedom Caucus, etc.

Ossoff comes across as a bit stuffy and like he's trying too hard to look the part, but I haven't read or heard anything about him that makes him seem like an idiot. I'd perhaps like him to speak his mind just a little bit more (just a little), rather than having everything being a canned line, but this has nothing to do with his intelligence.

So one of them is stuffy, and the other one doesn't think gay people should be able to adopt kids and probably supports RepubliCare which would take health insurance away from 24 million people.

Most small business owners actually support raising the minimum wage. It's these giant lobbying groups that lobby for companies like Taco Bell, McDonald's, and KFC (the National Restaurant Association) that are deadset against it.

Optics-wise, he absolutely demolishes her at every turn. She comes across as bitter and angry, and keeps throwing out the term "liberal," like it's a pejorative.

I was surprised she actually snap said she didn't support a living wage. Not that it'll matter ofc.

Well watching the parts of the debate that I did (only about 10 min total), it looks like an educated dude debating against someone who is obviously not very bright. Of course, if I try to imagine what a Trumpkin would perceive, they probably think she did great. While she may not have won in an objective sense, she did enough.

Can someone who watched it maybe point me to Ossoff's weakest part of the debate. In all the segments I saw, I think he did very well.
