Georgia's 6th - Ossof v. Handel. Georgia's 6th - Ossof v. Handel.

"Because I don't" is a very strong, substantive, detailed answer.

This lady's a real winner huh?

Hey Republic*nt, if you think gay relationships are "not what God intended" then please explain why the animal kingdom is gay in roughly the same percentage as humans.

"Because I don't" not a valid answer IMO.

Republicans are offering voters fascism, racism, sexism, and extreme disregard for the democratic norms and process. In many cases Democrats are offering technocratic neoliberal agendas. By that I mean a complicated rube goldberg system which is culturally forward thinking but still basically benefits the very wealthy and the big corporations. So to undecided voters, basically the Republicans offer them something while Democrats offer them nothing (to their perspective).

It's not hard to see why many people voted for Trump.
06-15-2017 , 08:09 AM
Democrats need to get angry and wage open warfare against the wealthy and the big corporate elites. "Eat the rich!" should be the resounding message, while the culturally forward-thinking stuff should still exist it should just be accepted as a given. Democrats need to act actually shocked and go after candidates hard when they refuse to be racially or LGBT forward thinking.

no one has commented on the incredible misogyny of this post. Has 2p2 returned to its misogynistic ways?

INCREDIBLE misogyny. INCREDIBLE. unPRESIDENTed misogyny.

Too bad hypocrisy isn't a punishable offense, huh? Not even INCREDIBLE hypocrisy.

I've read about 120,000 people have voted early. 194,000 voted in total in the April election.

A dozen polling locations have changed in Fulton County and at least mine in Cobb County changed, just for this election. I'm curious how many people will get confused and how it might affect voting numbers.

"Grab 'em by the pussy."

Am I allowed to directly quote the president in this country, or has that been made illegal already? It's hard to keep up with all the legislation this guy passes.

This will just make our loss more painful on election night. The early vote will come in heavy toward Ossoff, and then he'll end up with the same 48ish pts as before.

Worth noting that right wing media is obsessed with this race, whereas mainstream media couldn't care less.

GOP sirens blaze over Georgia special election

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/0...worries-239619

Ugh. Seems like good news, but not getting my hopes up these days.

VA gov race turnout numbers were also a good sign.

If Dems can't take the house in 2018 they should be charged with malpractice.

I think Obama may have hurt the dems by being too much of a superstar. People were more content to sit on the sidelines and applaud, but now they realize they have to roll up their sleeves and put their back into it.

Wouldn't the combination of GOP employing evil practices and Russia being IN practice outweigh this supposed malpractice by Dems?

I would estimate a greater than 20% chance that Democrats can do everything right and still lose.

EDIT: REPUBLI****S

IF VA had a "top 2" primary like CA, the general election would be two dems. Good sign.

Your attempted cover up is fooling no one.

You should just be a man and apologize.

Have you no shame?

Unlikely. Each of the two parties would converge toward a single candidate if those were the rules at the outset.

It's more a comment about participation/interest. VA has been a purple state, but the dems showed up in (relative) droves for the primary. This has to be worrying GOP experts as much as the apparently bad internals for Handel.
06-19-2017 , 02:48 AM
Man, really want a win here. It's 1.5 years from 2018 election so in many ways meaningless, but the spin would be glorious, and effects could reverberate to Senate healthcare bill and Trump's other agenda items. So, it's a pretty freaking big deal for not being a big deal.
06-19-2017 , 03:42 AM
We can salvage some lulz if Handel wins also, because then we will get a parade of right wing posters celebrating how they won by 3 points or w/e in a district that Price won by 24 points eight months ago.

A pro-Trump group is using Obama's voice out of context in radio ad for Georgia's special election

Handel commercials seem to be dominating the airwaves the last week. Not as many Ossoff ads, IMO. R money must be pouring in late.
