Eight contenders currently participating in an epic circle j*rk via CNN debate. Let the Trump-bashing begin! Who do you guys think should be the new DNC chair and why? Is anyone aside from Ellison or Perez really in the running? Who's going to be able to help the Democratic party reclaim the title belt in 2018 and 2020? Let the libtarding begin!

exhumed corpse of lenin has my support

lol. I kinda like Buttigieg so far. Reminds me of a serious version of Jimmy Fallon. A bit strange I like him so far since I don't really like Jimmy Fallon that much...Also they haven't really let Harrison speak at all yet so not sure what to think about him.

ALso Ronan seems pretty smart but doesn't have a ton of charisma. Not sure if you really need that as the DNC chair though?

Idaho chick is cute, but lol local control of education.

I like Jehmu Green.

Boo Perez grow a pair.

Perez comes across as dodging questions about primary being rigged. Not looking great.

This. He's obviously super smart but needs to man up

Lol Jamie Harrison should be given the hook, get this bum off the stage.
02-22-2017 , 11:48 PM
Ronan crushing this. Get rid of super delegates imo
02-22-2017 , 11:49 PM
Jehmu OFF THE STAGE YOU BUM.

Peter Peckarsky sucks. Ronan is alright in terms of the words he's saying, but gives off a strong serial killer vibe.

"How big of a complete and utter failure for the party and for American democracy was Debbie Wasserman?"

Agree, definitely set us back and it seems her approach was pretty darn elitist. Time for a change imo.

Looks about right to me, though I would put Green down a couple pegs, but I missed the first 20 minutes or so.

weak lineup

Ronan does appear to be top choice

Ronan is very similar to one of DeNiros flicks, Ronin, so he or she has my support.

I'm about 45 minutes behind on DVR. I guess Ronan picked things up later, because so far I have him below the fold after his first answer. He seems smart, but seems to lack charisma and maybe preparation. He flubbed his first chance to speak. It seemed like he had a few prepared lines and he wasn't sure if he should bring them out yet, etc...

Jehmu Green seems to have good answers, but she's far too pleasant.

So far I like Perez, Harrison, and Ellison, but WTF do I know?

The lawyer dude is toast. When you're talking about the unconstitutionality of voter suppression laws and you give the 3rd-best answer to the question, you can exit stage left.

I wanna here more about Peter's website! Taking a page out of HRC's "losing moves" playbook there

Was hoping to see O'Malley offhand, but given the pretty desperate need was hoping a bigger name would step in.
