Confirmed, the system works: https://www.dnainfo.com/chicago/2017...d-24-moneygang

Juvenile charged with unlawful use of weapon.

Good on those boys in blue, but if you pay attention around here, it's the lack of gun laws that is the problem, not lax enforcement.

Inso0,

Are you ever bothered that Jesus would hate you if he knew you?

I think one of the main ideas behind Jesus is that he loves his neighbors, heathens and all.

Take a note, Mr. 5ive.

Not specifically, but he was pretty clear on following the laws of men as long as they don't interfere with following God.

Jesus was just a real pain in the dick to everyone involved, frankly. Upset ALL the apple carts.

Have you ever broken a law in your life, even one as innocent as jaywalking?

I break laws all the time.

"Do as I say, not as I do" is the official motto of 2+2 politics forum, no?

Like your 6th grade algebra teacher used to say, "Please show your work, Mr. Goofyballer."

Gonna have to put a bit more effort into that zinger.

Please tell me you're invoking a 'render unto caesar' up in here when you have a conniption every time you think about your God given tax dollars going towards helping The Blacks.

Sure, he would've put on the game-face in public, and perhaps 'hate' is too extreme a word, but when him and I were in private I'm fairly certain he'd confide to me, "Jesus ****ing Christ that Inso0 is the wooOooOOorst amirite?!?"

Real Talk though, it is interesting to see that the new Conservative Christian angle is saying something like, "Nah, see, Jesus even had God's love for the worst of the worst, so we're good."

Yeah, I don't think that's a "new" angle, friend. By all accounts, Jesus of Nazareth was pretty consistent.

Also, don't wave your racist juju totem in my direction. If you have a problem with black people, that's on you. I was a recipient of public assistance at one point, and am largely a big fan of the concept. However, not so much when people actively choose to make it a way of life. Professional leeching comes in every color of the rainbow. Still, I'm way more upset about my tax dollars going to fund ridiculous things like ripping up perfectly good Milwaukee city streets to install a trolley that nobody will use than I am about public assistance for poor people.

Celebrating the great heros that came before. People that fought for civil rights at a time when doing so meant risking death, quite literally.

Maybe if you spent one second of your life trying to learn about the difficulties of being black in America and actually trying to understand and fix those difficulties, you wouldn't spend all of your time talking about racism trying to convince everyone you meet that you're not just a big dumb racist.

It's not working, by the way.

I spend approximately 0% of my time outside 2+2 talking about racism. It's your defense mechanism, not mine.

Re: Dear Black Lives Matter Supporters and Black People in General.

You just talked about it for a whole paragraph. This entire paragraph is basically you saying "I'm not racist!" It's kind of a tell that you're way more concerned about telling us you're not racist than you are with actual racism, you know like the Voter ID laws you support that are racially discriminatory.

Oh yeah, guess what Inso. Milwaukee installing a trolley IS public assistance for poor people! That's public transportation that people will use to get to work, which benefits the city of Milwaukee. You don't even realize that, do you?

Right. One of the ****ty parts about being poor is not being able to afford a car or buying a crappy car that breaks down, both of which limit job prospects.

A woman I was dating once had a car break down on her. She bought another one for 3k, needed a loan for that and wound up paying 15% on a secured loan. I tried to talk her into shopping for a better rate, but she wouldn't. In retrospect, I think she was under pressure to wrap up the deal ASAP so she could keep her jobs. She told me she had no choice.

Heh, guys, just no.

There are literally zero poor people who live on or near the Milwaukee streetcar path. It's just a classic waste of taxpayer dollars. "Obama gave us $47 million to spend on light rail. Use it or lose it. Most retarded idea wins."

It might be used by drunk college kids while bar-hopping, but they could've just used the buses.

Scott Walker shot down the commuter light rail proposal, which was equally retarded but 25x more expensive. This is just a way for Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett to build a legacy to himself in the form of a streetcar that nobody wanted and nobody will use.

The thing goes in a 2 mile circle downtown, ****s up traffic, ****s up existing bus routes, and eliminates what little street parking was available for a number of businesses on the route.

It has zero redeeming qualities. Our local government just simply ****ed up because they couldn't imagine letting $47 million federal dollars go to waste. You should all be just as upset as I am.
