sounds to me like the problem is with the NSA and the leakers who were willing to risk "a felony and 10 years in prison", according to gowdy right now, are legitimately concerned about potentially treasonous things that are being covered up at the highest levels of govt

Give the FBI a chance on this one IMO. Public disclosure of the details of an ongoing investigation absolutely hurt that investigation. Comey might just be bs'ing, and there's no excuse for what he did during the election, but if there really is an investigation, he would hurt it by publicly commenting on details of it.
