Browsing r/conservative and another conservative message board I frequent, the new talking point appears to be "The President is legally allowed to tell Comey to stop the investigation as long as The President isn't part of the investigation. So who cares if he asked Comey to stop looking into Flynn?"
Seriously disappointing.
EDIT:
If tapes are actually released, it's a lock that they're edited in some way, right?
OMG that Lankford question was sooooooooooooooooooo stupid. Comey has made it 100% clear today that he thinks Trump did something very wrong there. Did Lankford seriously think that HE was going to shake Comey from that? Jeebus.

Here's a questions: If Trump were in collusion with the Russians, would he in your opinion have behaved in any way differently than he has been over the past few months?
Are all congressional hearing like this? The whole thing has a "good cop, bad cop" vibe. The Dems are the good cops and the Repubs are the bad cops. I mean listen to the tone of the senator speaking right now. It's borderline hostile. And then the Dem female senator just started to speak now and is joking and is totally different than the previous guy.
