Lol Manhattan Institute and the super lol conclusion:

Migration choices reveal an important truth: some states understand how to get richer, while others seem to have lost the touch. California is a state in the latter group, but it can be put back on track. All it takes is the political will.
California is 3rd in median income DESPITE an influx of penniless immigrants that figure into the statistics. That means the non-penniless immigrants are RICHER.

I read somewhere that as soon as a penniless immigrant makes landfall in Cali they get like $100k per year in welfare bennies, tax free. No wonder the median income numbers are so high. #whensawhiteguygonnacatchabreak

As an aside, I wonder what your idea of a "test for voting" is. What kind of questions get put on a Jiggymike exam?
Main thing would be not being able to claim you're voting for one thing when the exact opposite is true. Media talked on end about Hillary's emails while breathlessly covering Trump and ignoring his many, many scandals but now they're gonna check him? Also conveniently eliminates you for claiming Hillary's made-up single-payer healthcare would cause old ladies to lose health care when that's far more likely under Trump and your state rep Paul Ryan.

In a country and diverse as the US is, it's a pretty good idea actually.

It's not perfect, but I think it has less overall flaws than a raw popular vote.
I agree they may not have been intended features. But the person I was responding to is trying to sell the ludicrous notion that there is no benefit of having an electoral college when in reality, there are multiple benefits.

Hawaii is the best state to live off the dole.

Would have been a great pun but the lowercase d leads me to believe this was just an accident

I think it was intentional. Otherwise it's way too random and probably not true other than you can be homeless, not cold, and in Hawaii.

Hawaii has offered to pay homeless people to move out of their state and had either the governor or a mayor smash a homeless person'a possessions on television.

Even Jill Stein's cat wants to stop the recount... It looks like the cat is about to claw her eyes out.

I won.

I'm getting a pro 2nd Amend. Supreme Court for most of the rest of my life.

I get to watch the Democrat Party and the center-left try to rebuild itself -- hopefully in a more rational form. In the mean time, the radical-left will cannibalize the Democrat Party and further damage the political power they still have -- for at least a few years anyway.

Nothing is perfect. Perhaps Trump distances himself from the prosecution of Clinton (on this issue). Guess I'll have to find a way to cope.

The biggest win for me is that Pres. Trump will not be protected by the media. His every move will be scrutinized. He will not be able to "get away with anything". A Pres. Hillary Clinton would have been adored by the press and showered with loving praise. Willfully covering up her every misdeed.

No doubt, the biggest victory in Nov-2016 for the US Citizen was a rebirth of the hostile media into a proper 5th column to keep a close eye on the workings of government. Instead of being sycophantic lap-dogs, cowering at the feet of their masters.

Now you just have to convince me that the American People will continue to pay attention. Doubtful at best. But no reason to give up hope at this point.
Ignoring the hilarious disconnect from reality in the rest of your post, I think you 2A types might be find yourself conned by Trump in the end too. Like the guy's positions flip flop more than my niece's sandals, what do you think his response is going to be the when the next school shooting happens and his approval rates start plummeting?

Spoiler:
Because we all know one is coming...
Spoiler:
thanks to the 2nd Amendment

In terms of dollars you can get more in welfare benefits in Hawaii than in any other state. But things also cost more there so living on dole might be easier somewhere else.

Shouldn't this be titled, "Jill Stein decides to carry water for Hillary Clinton"? I mean with HRC chastizing Trump about accepting the results, she'd distance herself from it, but she happy to re-tweet.

She retweeted this link which basically says the evidence is non-existent, but we're exploring. https://medium.com/@marceelias/liste...a39#.4okmpfqty

Obama appointed federal judge allows Michigan recount to end by withdrawing his order.

Sad day for EC truthers.

Does anyone think Jill Stein feels guilty for running? These three states she wants the recount in the difference in Trump/Clinton victory margin was less than the amount of votes Jill Stein received.

Also, why no recount in New Hampshire? It had a closer vote than Wisconsin & Penn and is the actual smallest amount of votes to turn over.

This reminds me of 2000 when Gore wanted a recount of just of Dade/Broward/Palm Beach in a state decided by a few hundred votes.

More ballots cast in Detroit than voters (as counted by poll workers). http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politi...per/ar-AAlwppE

Gore had a much stronger case for a recount. The votes were one state, a handful of counties, and fewer votes. HC needs a three state parlay. This is why poker is a profitable game. The vast majority of people have no comprehension of statistics.

HC is acting like a baby. It reminds me of this time she wanted the presidential suite, and the conseirge said you have to be president. Talk about first world problems.

How is HRC acting like a baby? By not stopping a nut job from being a nut job?

I know you probably think Hillary has some secret death squad goons who could take out Stein, but that's just nonsensical propaganda.

Why is it that whenever you strike a nerve with an intellectually deficient liberal, they always pretend to be a smarter-than-though mind-reader?

She's handling the whole loss like a baby. She blames the Russians for election tampering, when what looks like what happened was some email hacking by nobody knows who. Even if it were the Russians hacking emails, that's still not election tampering. Election tampering means tampering with the votes, the election process itself. She gets Podesta to talk to electoral college people in order to "dump Trump", which IS an example of election tampering. And, it backfired since there were Clinton faithless electors. And her followers talk endlessly about the popular vote, which doesn't matter. Trump won under budget, payed half what Clinton payed, didn't waste money trying to sway the young vote with celebrities. Clinton's campagin was managed poorly, and now that she lost, this is the biggest liberal blue party I've ever seen. So, it's the Russian's fault, she won the popular vote, boofnhoo.jpg.

I don't have a problem with liberals. I am annoyed with pretentious mind-readers, and endless sobbing about the electoral college, etc. It's like at the poker table, the guy who's ahead one card on the turn, and then preteneds the whole hand should stop, because it revolves around him, and acts like a baby after he loses. This is why I do not like the HRC movement, because I've spent too much time in card rooms.

I agree. I think we will all be grateful to some extent when Trump assumes power and we can get on with critiquing his policies.
