If you're going to claim a false flag attack... I wouldn't go with covering the Seth Rich angle.

That guy got his 15 minutes when he tweeted about Trump dying last year.

Mine was a serious speculation about Trump, not a useless snarky joke about "religion of peace". Big difference.

My old fitness bootcamp instructor is ex-military (I think we was a military fitness trainer) and until recently seemed pretty apolitical. But Trump has really got him going and he's posted some long diatribes about previous terrorist attacks. He's immediately sprung into action on FB:

Quote:
another suicide bomber, several killed and injured in Manchester, England. Build the wall, boot em' out if here illegally and let's tighten up our nations security...BIG TIME. Cannot allow this to happen here in the USA and it will if we don't start locking it down and making it safer. Other countries really need to tighten up security and do so as well....so sad but will continue to happen if they do not. All the 'snowflake' memes and facebook photos with flags on them really don't do much in the real world.
Thoughts and prayers to all affected by this radical islamic terrorist. We really need to exterminate this evil off the face of the planet - no ROE, whatever it takes. Makes me sick to my stomach....
And this thread already has several hundred posts, most like this:

Yep, I am also tired of folks taking a stand against the 'rights' for these evil animals...whatever it takes...no ROE, bring back water boarding, etc. Whatever it takes to find and flush them out like the rats they are. This evil cannot be fought conventionally.

yes it is my opinion. Let's go around the country. New Orleans, Miami, Newark, Detroit, Cleveland, Gary, Chicago, Oakland, Los Angeles just to mention a few cities in the United States. All have the same thing in common. High crime, to few jobs, to many on welfare, sanctuary cities millions / billions in debt and all run by liberals.
America is devided because law abiding hard working citizens like me are sick and tired of politicians taking our hard earned taxes and giving it to people who think they are entitled. These liberals do this to stay in power.
The problem with socialism is eventually you run out of other people's money.
We have to secure our borders. Protect our sovereignty as a nation by removing criminals in our country illegally etc.
Clean up our domestic problems. People need to take responsibility for themselves. We should help the handicapped and seniors. Everyone else, earn your own way or starve. Period.
We are so unbelievably ****ed the next serious terrorist attack on US soil. These people are going to want major blood, and they're going to get it if Trump's still president.

Is there any sort of tipping point where Western society actually cares about this sort of thing? I mean legitimately cares, not the 'I changed my facebook profile pic' cares.

As horrifying and low as this incident is (bombing a bunch of teenage girls at a pop concert) other recent incidents have been almost as horrible.

I mean, they opened fire on a huge concert crowd in France with machine guns just a few months ago and then a few months later ran over hundreds of people with a big truck, etc.

People are all distraught for a few days, tweet a few hashtags, and then we all got right back to focusing on the really important stuff, transgender bathrooms and Miss USA's opinion of universal healthcare.

Pretty insulting to imply that anyone doesn't care.

What's your solution? Be specific.

Different trainer. This guy used to be a lot more positive on FB than my trainer. I haven't seen him in person in years but he was always super upbeat. I've noticed a big change in his FB persona at least the last couple years.

Interesting that those two statements were back to back. I didn't realize thoughts and prayers did more than facebook photos of flags and snowflake memes.

It was considered offensive to talk about gun control after Sandy Hook so I'm going to say no.

OMG! Someone has an opinion (like maybe dead kids really are more important than what Trump might say), but I don't share it! Someone please help! BAN THEM! Oh please! BAN THEM!

Waaaahhhhh!!! Waaaahhhhhh!

What's your solution other than posting "religion of peace" on a poker forum every time something like this happens? Be specific. Or is that good enough? Like if we just all got on board with the snark would terrorism wilt and die?

Yeah things are going to go great in this country when this **** becomes more and more empowered. It starts with a Muslim registry.
