Bump this thread every time Trump makes America greaterest again Bump this thread every time Trump makes America greaterest again

As we're just days from the inauguration, and there have been thousands of posts discussing the transition and predicting what's going to happen thought it was time to create a safe space to give credit where credit is due. This is the place to discuss how the policies of the new administration make life better for all Americans (or most).

Just for example, the previous administration had a few accomplishments that would be bump worthy. They include, per FactCheck.org:

Quote:
- The economy has added 9.7 million jobs.
The unemployment rate has dropped below the historical norm.
- Corporate profits are running 144 percent higher and stock prices have soared.
- The number of people lacking health insurance has gone down by nearly 15 million.
This isn't about the past though. It's about moving forward. Moving on.

It's understandable that some of these positives might take time to be realized, but given the confidence and certainty of principle with which the incoming administration is entering office, maybe not.

Bump away

You heard it here first folks, Trump's a robot and he's making robot america great again by keeping Toyota from hiring a bunch of Mexicans in Mexico to assemble cars, and having his robot counterparts build them.

He has already returned 1.2 million dollars back to the American People from the transition budget by not actually doing the necessary work.

MIP should be set at whatever actuaries say it should be, not a penny more not a penny less. If people can't afford to put 20% down they probably can't afford the house anyway.

TPP killed. He's already making America great again

This last sentence couldn't be more wrong.

care to essplain how? Or is this a Fox talking point because because...?
01-22-2017 , 02:12 PM
TPP, just another trade deal that would have hurt the American worker and given more power to multinational corporations with very little benefit to America at all. ever heard of addition by subtraction?
01-22-2017 , 04:12 PM
now go on about how NAFTA was the worst deal ever signed
01-22-2017 , 04:16 PM
It seems unnecessary since you already know it's the worst deal ever signed

Completely disagree. We must have very different ideas of what "afford" means.
01-22-2017 , 04:43 PM
So if someone can afford a 2k mortgage payment but doesn't have 20% of the cost of house in the bank they should wait 2 or 3 years until they have saved it up before buying the house? Why?

01-22-2017 , 05:00 PM
it's essentially an argument that no one should ever finance anything ever because if they can't pay straight cash homey they can't afford it and shouldn't buy it

A straw man and a personal attack... fantastic post, keep it up!

edit: I don't know if you can even call it a straw man, you didn't even bother making an argument against the argument you think that I made.
