Even though they seem to have arrested the terrorist, no official information about the arrest has come out. Just the kind of incompetence I have come to expect from our authorities.

Edit: A quick google search reveals that Sweden has 70 soldiers in Iraq.

Edit2: ..and at one point they had 500 soldiers in Afghanistan. I did not know Sweden is involved there.

Reports in Swedish news of 4 people dead and 15 people injured. Also (unconfirmed) news that the perpetrator has been arrested north of Stockholm within the last hour, and that he's apparently confessed.

The truck was stolen a few blocks from where I live, and driven down the largest pedestrian street in Stockholm. I was out a while ago, about half a mile (or 3/4) from where the truck crashed, and it's a very strange feeling seeing the streets full of people walking everywhere, since buses and subways etc are down and people in the city center need to get home. Seeing footage of people running in panic from places I recognize and where I move daily is a very surreal feeling indeed.

There are only 5% Muslims in Sweden. Assuming that it was a Islamic terrorist atrack is racist af. Even in the off chance that it was a Muslim, it surely was a mentally disturbed individual and being Muslim is purely coincidental.
