Julian Assange and Wikileaks have become the very thing they purported to want to eliminate: gatekeepers of information. The hacker ethos of "information wants to be free" doesn't hold any sway with Assange and Wikileaks. They simply want to control what is and isn't made public, to control the narrative. They're not freedom fighters, they're not good guys. I don't know if they've always been like this, but I'm leaning towards they just used Chelsea Manning as a pawn for political reasons, and she was the one that suffered years in prison for it, while they raked in donations. Simply put, **** Assange, and **** Wikileaks.

Yeah a lot of times I'm looking for a post from someone and looking for key words and google sucks for that. I used to be able to search and get sent to the post and then started to send me to the last post of the thread and I had to search through it by the date of the post and now it sends me anywhere in the thread sometimes it seems. It's too much work to even do a simple search half the time.

Pauline Hanson who is the leader of One Nation decides to wear a burka into the Australian Senate as a stunt. It's pretty incredible to me that she thought this was a good way to stimulate discussion about the issue. It seems pretty disrespectful but I should not really be surprised as she has come out with some pretty vile stuff in her time.
