I consider myself something of a lay expert in the inner workings of people like DBJ's mind, but I seriously don't understand the "outrage" here. Taxes exist? That's it, right, just a reminder than you do have to pay taxes.

P.S. Those tax bills appear to be assuming that the Olympian is already in the top bracket.

DBJ's implied (to be fair he's hardly offered any content of his own) objection might make sense if he also argued that his salary from when he was police shouldn't be taxed. I have a hard time seeing as how the exceptionally gifted at the jumpy flippy should be rewarded when other people providing more important services are not.
