Show me in the law where anyone can be stopped based only on the assumption by an officer of them being an illegal. The same old tired "they're going to stop latinos on the street for no reason" makes no sense because it is stated in the law that a person must be investigated for another offense first. In that case, it does not matter what race or ethnicity because the officer is going to ID you from either your ID card or through the database. Of course, this goes for every state.
