Donating a kidney to your boss is spectacularly dumb. Not as dumb as soliciting organ donations from your employees, but pretty close.

Until she is fired and her company pays out millions to the lady in the lawsuit. Of course, not dying is probably still pretty nice.

It's a free roll for her though. She does not pay the millions and she might even retain employment. The living thing is pretty sweet too. Won't last too long though if she's back to the booze already.

A family friend of ours was just taken off the donor recipient list because of a warrant from Florida. It's from 15 years ago for a bad check of 23$. He paid all the fines and fees but the courts down there are saying he has to travel down there to take care of it even though his doctor has told them he can't travel. He has to set up a dialysis place and all that while he's down there and if he's arrested his doctor said to call him first as he'll tell the prison/jail/court/police/whoever that he requires 6 hours of dialysis a day and they'll release him ASAP as they won't want to pay for it.

He LDO should have just created a business that kept firing people that weren't matches until he found the right one I guess.

In most cases, companies can go after their employees to recover losses caused by their actions. They generally don't for PR and practical reasons, but ****, I'd be tempted in this case.

Did not know that. Yeah if I ran that company I would say she's a fair target at this point.
