Most of Bernie's supporters are about as far Left as Cruz's are Right. They'll overwhelmingly vote for Hillary, but some will stay home. NFW there are mass defections to a conservative based on some "cult of personality" Hot Take, especially not because he's "the closest we have to Kennedy this year."

^ this. bernie supporters may be idealistic, but they aren't stupid. i can't even begin to construct a scenario in which this happens. far leftie votes for far rightie just because he's pretty?
