Ruled 5-4 yesterday that minors can no longer be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. This should have been done long ago, I guess better late than never.

and yet they are as capable of killing innocent people (if not more so) than anybody else in society.

They can still be sentenced to life without parole after a hearing. It just can't be mandatory anymore.
