Just not sure how bad he sprays his misses off the tee bc europeantour.com blows beyond belief with their stats and information, so this could all be for nothing. He also recently played reasonably well vs a pretty strong field at the Memorial considering how bad the conditions were. I like the odds myself

Re: US Open

Adding Jacobson at +1135 on 5dimes. The only guy I have is Colaserts at 200-1.

Re: US Open

Pretty profitable tourney for me!

Kind of hilarious to look back and see how far the opinion of Webb Simpson has come between me and my golf gambling friend in regards to Webb Simpson

Last March:

Me: What do you think of this guy Webb Simpson? I've never heard of him. #s look pretty solid and he's leading going into round 4. I think he can probably hang on and win. What do you think?
Friend John: He won't win it. Next question
Me: You say that pretty confident. How come?
John: He won't win it. Trust me (followed by random reasoning of who's chasing, never been there before, etc). You'll probably never hear from this guy again

October: Discussing tee to green guys vs Putters

Me: How the hell does Jason Day manage to score so well? He goes against everything we makes bets on
John: He's that good man. When he's on, it's pretty sick.
Me: He's completely terrible #s wise tee to green. All he can do is putt scramble and hit a long ass way. He sucks with accuracy, irons, and everything else. How does this guy do it?
John: You'll probably see him win a **** ton of tournaments throughout his career. Vs somebody like....oh I don't know, Webb Simpson. That guy might be the king of top 10-25 finishes for a few years until he fades away, but you'll probably watch Jason Day have way less good finishes week to week but win a lot more tournaments. Webb won't win much, and you'll probably never watch him battling for a major like Day did 2x this year
Me: That makes no sense to me, take the name Jason Day out and we would take Webb Simpson every time.
John: Whatever man, Day will be the bigger winner, vs Webb being the money collector week in and week out.

Late January 2012 discussing matchups:
Me: What do you think of Webb's odds on this course vs (some random idiot I don't remember)
John: WEBB IS AN EZ PLAY. HE MIGHT JUST BE THE BEST GOD DAMN PLAYER ON THE PGATOUR.
Me: Yeah no kidding, I was thinking the same. Turns out he wasn't a fluke

US Open 10pm EST
John: Nice job fading Webb, The US Open Champion and as I told you, quite possibly the best god damn player on tour and taking a scrub like Bill Haas to beat him.
Me: Lol yeah I'm retarted

Nice work.

Gutted that Thompson missed that birdie putt on 17. Had him e/w at 500/1 before the start.

Also had Harrington at 150/1 ew after the first round when he had a four-putt and two three-putts.
