Texas Rangers 2½ System
The Texas Rangers are 4-5 so far this season. However, I noticed something about their wins/losses. Of their 4 victories, all were by 2 or more runs. They are a powerhouse team built for scoring a lot of runs. They may not be a 0.500 ball club this year, but with my system they don't need to be.
Friday (1 Play)
Texas Rangers -2½ +240 (5Dimes)
YTD: 0-0, 0% ROI

Re: Texas Rangers 2½ System
I can't give out too many details. There are times when the system calls for a bet on the other team minus two and a half runs. For those times, we'll also bet the Rangers minus two and a half runs to setup a big plus juice polish middle attempt.

Re: Texas Rangers 2½ System
If they were all 2+ run victories why wouldn't you play the -1.5?

Re: Texas Rangers 2½ System
25% of their wins are by 13 runs or more, bet you could get pretty sweet odds laying 12.5 runs.

Re: Texas Rangers 2½ System
i recall reading about the Weibull distribution of runs and the outliers being due to "feast or famine" offenses

Re: Texas Rangers 2½ System
On Friday the Rangers lost in a blowout to the Royals. Had we also bet the Royals -2.5 we would have made a profit on the game. However, as I said in the introduction, the Rangers are probably not a 0.500 ball club. They won't win most games. But when they do win, they will win big.
Saturday (1 Play)
Texas Rangers -2½ +250 (TheGreek)
YTD: 0-1, -1 unit, 1 unit wagered, -100% ROI

Re: Texas Rangers 2½ System
I like this today. +240 for Meche vs. Harrison then +250 for Greinke vs. Millwood is a joke.

Re: Texas Rangers 2½ System
The good thing about this system is the way it takes advantage of the kurtosis in gambling lines. Black Swans ftmfw.
