Someone pointed out on another forum. John (the owner) hasn't posted at SBR since Feb 5th (under his usual posting name, who knows what his ghosts are up to). Lou who hasn't posted under SBR Lou since Jan 30th and Bill Dozer's last post was Feb 12 and he made only 3 posts this month.

My experience with Lou is if the book tells him the player acted fraudulently that is the end. He doesn't ask for proof or anything, just stops working on it.

Given that VC are criminals it wouldn't surprise me if they made something up.

The pro's or the winning bettors don't really post in sbr...they lurk around. All the posters are wanna be pros who needs to go on show something on the forum to make them feel good about themselves. Bunch of immature idiots if you ask me. Also, the sbr review itself is not objective anymore...they corrupt.

This 7Red news is lol though. Obviously be very careful of them and EZStreet.
Crazy interview with JJ Gold. These SBR guys are all creeps.

"Business as usual, Jonny. He's knows what that means." - 6:45 min into the interview

Seems like a last ditch effort by sbr to save their forum. Betislands exposed how bought and paid for dozer/walker are, and how they never gave a **** less if their posters sent their money to a stable book or a failure waiting to happen. I don't believe this JJgold story at all. He left and tried to get paid at eog, they told him no thanks. Sbr takes hit strike 3 with betislands joining cascade and wsex confirming that they weren't just unluckily blindsided like everybody else a time or 2. Everybody of value left years ago or left after betislands. Place has been a deserved ghost town for 6 months. This seems nothing more than a hope his videos and posts of no gambling value whatsoever will entertain the new batch of college kids. Sadly, Ganchrow's betting tools are the only redeeming qualities left at sbr, and they're still your only hope at getting a non sponsor book complaint resolved. They did straighten an issue I had with Betphoenix however. But still everybody should know they never have been and never will be what they claim they are. I trust Prop's rating any day over them

Do I deserve a past post label on one of my wagers if I had no idea I was past posting? To be more specific, I was live betting on a baseball game on Bovada and predicted Yadier Molina, one of the best batters in the game, to "Hit/Walk/HBP" against a pitcher who was out of sync at the time. I was going to bet $11 but ended up betting $111 by pressing an extra '1' and I thought I got lucky by getting it right. However, it was labeled "no action" and I got a message saying my wager was placed past post even though I placed the wager before I knew anything. I understand that tv is delayed a few seconds because of Janet Jackson but I did not unfairly gain any advantage compared to the average player since I placed the wager before the first pitch of the at bat as shown on the tv.

I called customer service twice and both times they said they would call me back within an hour. They never did. Do I have a case to fight for my winnings? Does anyone have a history of this and could potentially help me? Am I posting on the right thread? Thanks for your help.

5 Possible Scams beside our Betislands.com Pump and Dump last year

For those of you who do not know, BetIslands was a new sportsbook that received rapid ratings increases on SBR. A number of ghost accounts and shills touted the book as being the next big thing. Posters trusted that SBR's ratings were unbiased. BI took deposits til the moment they went offline. SBR was speculated to know the demise was coming with Bill Dozer imploring them to hang on for every last penny in new deposits.

SBR is trying to gain affliate income among unsuspecting new bettors who accept their ratings as legit. The link goes to indicate a few of the best known scam sites in an effort to illustrate an attempt at being an industry watchdog.

Their ratings are suspect and everyone that reads this thread should know that before making an informed decision on where to play.

That's a fair warning but you're basically just preaching to the choir. Everybody that posts here already knows that they're an affiliate scam and gives almost zero credence to their ratings anymore (I assume just about all of the internet gambling forums know this by now). They had a hell of a run, but hopefully they're done soon. Part of me feels they started out legit and tried to rate books unbiased, but everything changed when UIGEA happened. They became a 100% affiliate scam after that and their pretend efforts to act like they have any pull in sportsbook disputes have probably recovered less than 1% vs what their ratings have cost players. Betislands hopefully was their last straw. Plenty of us were victims of Betislands btw

I know and empathize with the lost BI funds. As long as our money is gone, I will take it on myself to warn future bettors that may look at SBR. Keeping post current will help others avoid the pitfalls.

laughable how their news stories these days are just negative slander against books that won't pay their ransom. not that i'll be playing with them anytime soon, but i'm pretty sure the olympian group and rdg corp books are a lot safer than some of the sbr sponsor books that have/had b ratings

Paid poster on RG Corp associated portal (AsktheBookie.com) was warning about BetIslands early in the football season last year. Really if last year had done one of these reports BetIslands (SBR B and heavily touted) and Legends (SBR A+) could have been on the list.

Including RG Corp on this was BS and that's true even if they fail tomorrow. The legal environment is tough and are seeing the oldest books closing. But I mean there is a good 20 more worthy books to warn about using than RG Corp.

Seriously - How about 7RedSports!?!?!?!?
Lol at RG Corp being included

In general the tone is much more immature/amateur hour, but there are very serious gamblers posting good insights there if you have the patience to wade through the idiocy. I find the less serious tone to be funny and less stressful than uptight places where mods get high off of the modicum of authority they have in life.
No one is saying that everything under sbr should be killed with fire. The ratings and the ghost accounts that prop up books are at issue. The kiddie hour is an attempt to inflame other users to posting and refreshing often. The site has made considerable money through google adsense and other means of traffic elevated revenue.

If you know what you are looking for it is ok...for the casual or new bettor it is a minefield that could go off and take your roll with it
