I told him I was flexible and asked if we could meet Tuesday and settle the entire balance. He said that would be okay.

I met him tonight and he paid the entire balance. However, I will have to think very hard about whether or not I will get with him again as I did not enjoy this process and it was a first-hand lesson in hw little power I would have to collect in the event he decides not to pay me.
You should get your head checked if you bet with this guy again. Plenty of upstanding bookies out there believe it or not, you just have to find one or a few and stick with them forever. Don't bet with this guy again, at least not until he reaches out. If he does, work out some sort of rebate or free play situation if he wants your action, if not tell him to screw

+1 you have the ball now and can ask for any compensation/bonus for how he handled the situation, and if you decide to give him your business (I wouldnt recommend it) you have to proceed with extreme caution gl either way.
