That may have been a bit strong but I've never seen someone accumulate close to 50 units so quickly. Everyone else I know that is betting does straight up bets, parlays, or teasers and is break even or down a fair amount.

This may be the new age of handicapping.

It obviously is since he set the record for fastest to ever accumulate 50 units and is undefeated at betting. Why do you even need any input on theory? All that matters is that he's like 20 for 20 betting and getting paid big time, right?

I think a part of me just wanted to share a large winning strategy with the sports betting forum that hasn't been discussed previously. I wanted to do so since it seems many people on this forum have been break even, losing, or marginal winners.

i burst out laughing at the thought of someone saying this earnestly

i mean i realize now that you're trolling, but a lot of people think this way so it's a solid parody

What are your picks for tonight? I will end his hot streak by taking a money parlay of his picks.

Spurs are a lock. SIA is scared of Spurs ML action and has shaded their line to a SOLID -7950.

OP's friend's heater aside, are lines like Washington -340 against USC efficient?

USC has one conference win in the worst Pac-10/12 of all-time. Washington is playing for a conference title + at large bid. I know results-oriented posting, but when does Washington ever lose there? USC was playing for nothing.

Trying to work through historic data to see what a fair price is given different totals and sides. Need help deriving a logistic regression. Anyone have any tips? All of the data is in excel ready to go - I just can't get it to regress.

Here are his picks tonight. Enjoy the show. I'll post later if he has any other winners.

risking 9.6 units to win 4, Murray State -240
risking 6.9 units to win 3, Marist -230

Luke - I am inspired by your friend. Here are my plays today:

risking 103.0 units to win 3, San Antonio Spurs
risking 30 units to win 2.9, BYU

This is the start of something bit. I did have to leverage my BR though as each unit represents 1% of my roll.

Luke I think your lines are off I'm in Vegas and the best line I found on Murray state is -400 it seems to be 8 or 8.5 at all casinos. Marist is -210 to -230 which is what you quoted.

DMMx,

Go ahead and make wreckless bets like that. These are at least controlled. You'll probably lose one of those, too...not make 50 units in 3 weeks.

Should be -420 on Murray State

Obviously just a typo since the units match up to -420 right?

Murray State is already up 18-6. Most of these are over by halftime.

Does it even matter if it's -240 or -420? It's a 4 unit win no matter what.

Has anyone checked if these plays lines are accurate. Anyone can win laying 240 on a game that's -420.

You only pay juice when you lose, so it doesn't matter for the picks in this thread.

****'em up Luke.

At some point someone has to put a stop to this. He went 2-0 and made 7 more units tonight. He's now won 18 straight days and hasn't lost a money line bet. That isn't a heater, that's insanity.

One great thing about this system you haven't mentioned yet is it protects the bettors from point shaving/fixed games/crooked refs (which happens ALL the time, DON'T be naive) as we don't have to worry about the final margin of victory. JUST THE VICTORY BABY.

JUST WIN BABY.
