Mods probably should delete or merge this thread since the title is false. Pinnacle didn't cheat.

Voiding bets that were placed before the misgrade even happened can't ever be part of an equitable solution. If OP is correct that this happened, that's crap. When a bet is deleted though, it's highly unlikely to me that they found a way to also steal your stake. You're going to have to post your account log with balances and such to get me to believe that happened.

An equitable solution would be to not bet with money that isn't rightfully yours.

Why do people act like a simple grading mistake is the equivalent of pinnacle (a huge, reputable book) taking a shot at OP? If anything it's the other way around and OP deserves no mercy either way since, again, he bet with money that wasn't his

Yes, people must stand together in a situation like this. I think that the threat of justified bad publicity is the best chance to make them change this decision. Do you know some good media outlets for this, outside of 2+2?

I am ready to show all the evidence I have.

As I said, they just killed the ticket, it didn't appear as void or cancelled, or even lost. If I wasn't present, I might even have forgot about it. However, the money was certainly stolen.

In the e-mails they confirmed that the ticket existed , first claiming not to have any information on it apart from the ticket number (707182132) cause it was "deleted". Later on, I got them to confirm the odds (-117 or 1.854) and a stake of 16,997.49 DKK.

There is nothing that I want more than them to rectify their mistake. At this time it seems unlikely to happen, so I would like to spread this story. Do you know some other good ways to do so? As I said, I'm ready to show all evidence.

I am done with Pinnaclesports!

PS.

I apologize for posting in the wrong section to begin with. 2+2 was very a valuable source of information for me back when I was playing mid- to high stakes poker seriously, but it has been a while.

Dear Client,

When we cancel pending wagers to recover funds we cancel the last entered wagers first.
Both your wagers Ticket 707182132 and Ticket 707192714 were pending.
Since your wager Ticket 707182132 was the last wager placed , this wager was canceled and the second wager reduced for the difference to bring your balance back to zero.
Your wager were graded and canceled as per the rules governing our website.

To which I responded:

Hello Joe

I quote you:

"When we cancel pending wagers to recover funds we cancel the last entered wagers first.Since your wager Ticket 707182132 was the last wager placed , this wager was canceled and the second wager reduced for the difference to bring your balance back to zero."

That would make sense, BUT:

1)The match was just finished and it was a win for me.

2) Even if it wasn't, the 707182132 (Panathinaikos game) bet was placed first, not last. The 707192714 ticket (Miami -4) was placed after that, and that's at least an hour later.

I wonder if there is a single post in lvr's entire history that isn't abusive towards somebody...

Regardless of whether OP is in the right or wrong, his posting history is just a sea of negativity and abuse directed at other posters.

Thank you. It is very crushing to have this experience and then being called an idiot, scum and so on, once I try to share the story with people. Especially when it comes from people who didn't read the story or just don't care. Or, in one case I suspect already, some kind of bookmaker affiliate.

PS.

I happen to be in the right. Do you have any ideas about what I can do?

It was quite a while ago and yes, I was betting $100 a game, not due to lack of bankroll but because I was still learning how to be a profitable sportsbettor. I'm betting up to a few k a game these days with an average bet of around ~800 usd (just over 1k aud)

Yes, i'm willing to escrow to prove that if you want to lose a sidebet to me. I'm actually coming off three five figure months in a row although I do recognise that i'm running above EV recently, but i'm making mid-high 4 fig EV per month and playing poker on the side so i'm doing fine for myself. This month i've turned over about 390k over about 370 positions.

I'm a long way from being one of the best, i'm still a small fish in a big pond, but i'm on my way to becoming a medium fish. It isn't hard to catch slow moving books off market lines, yes, the big guys build their own model and move the lines and I hope to be one of them one day as I continue learning from some of my friends who are better at sports betting than I am. I was completely terrible at sportsbetting when I started posting here years ago and while most of what i've learned has come from people I met outside of 2p2, i've met people who post here who have helped along the way. Certainly no one from the millionaire's club though.

The bulk of what I bet on isn't stuff that I even post about. It's nothing to brag about, i'm just picking off soft books vs pinny and the exchanges and have access to a lot of accounts through my network of poker playing friends who don't sports bet. A negligible percentage of my profit comes from MMA betting and the amounts I bet on MMA are relatively small (usually sub 1k still), that's just what I enjoy discussing here.

Kathleen: I have no idea if you're in the right or wrong but given Pinny just credited you it appears you're right, and they did the right thing which is good so you should probably change the thread title. If you're going to stick around at 2p2 I would recommend thoroughly ignoring lvr, even though he is probably good at sports betting, it's not like anything he posts is ever useful info it's just abuse directed at posters he deems inferior.

Also, hi lvr, care to retract some statements now that Pinny has agreed that OP was in the right here and was paid?

Yes, I can change the title. What is the common practice here, that or deleting the thread?

I'm really not into smearing anyone without reason, and now they did the right thing, even though it took some time. So they deserve credit for that.
