pacquiao vs bradley
Any thoughts for betting on this fight or props. I think pacquiao wins by ko or unanimous decision -230 is the best bet thrown in with pacquiao wins by split decision at +920. IMO, no doubt pacquia wins but I would like the hear other people's thougjhts.
IMO pacquiao needs this win and while Bradley is a top tier fighter, imo he has beaten no one amazing in the elite level like a mayweather/pacquio. Also pacquiao needs to win this fight to keep up desire for the mayweather fight. While pacquiao looked marginal in his last win (prolly actually a loss) vs marquez but marquez is in a different league compared to bradley. Also marques has fought pacquiao 2 times before so I knew what to expect in the ring. No doubt in my mind, bradley has never fought anyone even close to pacquaio in regards to speed.

Re: pacquiao vs bradley
As we saw last Pac man fight, the judges will give a decision to Paquiao. If Bradley is to win, it will be inside the distance.

Boxing is just so boring, stupid and corrupt.
Pac should win, he's better etc. but until he fights Mayweather, no one should give a damn about either of their PPVs.
Can you imagine how awful it would be in MMA if the best guys in each weight class were allowed to dodge each other and both claim to be champ? or if the Heat and the Thunder/Spurs were both just declared 'champ' and didnt play each other at the end.
Yeah, that's how non boxing fans feel about boxing.

Haha. You are the only one that is dumb and ignoratn for making that statement.
I don't care if Pacquiao and Mayweather ever fight. Would I like it? Of course. I would love it in fact. Will it affect me as a boxing fan? Absolutely not. Nor will with this fight "save" the sport of boxing. Boxing will always be around and is not going anywhere. It still does bigger numbers than any no talent meat head MMA fight will do. But now is not the time or place to debate that.
I think Bradley has an extremely legit chance to win the fight. Haven't decided on my bet yet.

Re: pacquiao vs bradley
So wait, as a fan of the sport you don't care if the best two guys in a weight class face each other or not?
If they don't then what's the point of the sport? Boxing needs a single governing body to save it.
Also in before Pacquiao is awarded another controversial decision then he and Mayweather opt to fight a random no names rather than each other.

Also, nice mix of statements there.
Sorry for the MMA vs Boxing derail, but does anyone seriously think Pacquiao will lose a decision with the corrupt boxing judges? Bradley needs a finish.

In the UFC the fighters are employees of the same organization not just contestants.
In boxing [as a boxer] you have to deal with sanctioning bodies, agents and promoters that are all independent organizations.
Each structure has its own advantages and pitfalls.
One thing they have in common is that it is better to win decisively than to try and get a close win over a more highly regarded opponent.
Anyway Pacquiao should win this if his head is in the right place.
Also IMO he would be foolish to fight Mayweather as it is a mismatch and it is probably better for his political aspirations to leave his fans wondering on this one.

Re: pacquiao vs bradley
As a former UFC fan (but always a boxing fan), Swoop AE stop talking nonsense.
For every Mayweather Pacman that hasn't happened, we've had five classics with the top two of three p4ps slugging it out. Maybe you missed Barrera Hamed, Froch Ward, Lewis Klistchko, Pacman Morales I II, III, Marquez Pacman I,II,(III), Morales Barrera I, II, III, Khan Maidana. In fact the new school of fighters want to fight everyone - Broner, Alvarez, Brook, Rondigeaux, Gamboa. So PBF has ducked a few? Big deal. Boxing is way bigger money than UFC will ever be and therefore investments need to be protected and fights cultivated.
As for Pacman Bradley, I think it will be a good fight. Neither has fought a boxer recently with similar speed (Bradley would have done if he fought khan). Pac only struggles against Marquez as he just can't handle that particular counter punching style. Whilst people think he may be slipping (politics, ageing etc), i think he has more than enough for Bradley. Bradley will not handle the power. Kendall Holt can bang but not like Pacman and Bradley can't hide that chin. I remember reading at the time that Cotto stated he couldn't believe the power of Pacman; and how solid his neck was taking some of Cotto's strongest shots.
Roach and Pacman have openly stated that they are prepared for this headbutting tactics and if Pac wants to it'll be an easy pts decision.
But it comes down to this. If Bradley wants to bang, he's going to get one punch KOd. He has shown flashes of the Hatton KO but Marquez took it on the chin (literally). If he wants to box from the outside, due to Pac's superior skill, he'll get outpointed. Bradley can move his feet but he hardly has the resistance/defence of Clottey/Cotto. Pacman will swarm him and he'll have no answer.
I can't really be bothered for a statistical write-up but as a loose prediction I think Pacman stops him within 8. Regarding the odds, I would recommend a small double by backing Pacman KO (2.8) and sticking all of it on Haye KO vs Chisora (bp 3.25). When looking for value, you need something priced into the odds that is false (like wlad's hatred for david haye = ko which I said was nonsense). In the Bradley Pac fight, it may be that people believe Bradley's will-power is an actual skilful trait. We have recently seen how heart can overcome skill (froch vs bute, peterson vs khan) maybe with a little steroid help in the latter. Bradley looks a little short considering his performances thus far compared to Pac's handling of more experienced opponents. But there isn't much of an edge, if at all.

Re: pacquiao vs bradley
Pacquiao by decision is a slight underdog, took it for half a unit or so. Still can't get me excited enough about boxing to actually watch the fight though.

Re: pacquiao vs bradley
Im thinking about betting pacquio wins only -400 ($100) and pacquio wins by ko or unanimous decison -231 ($200), for a shot to start my sports roll? Is this too risky or ok? I think pacquio easily wins this fight (a lot easier than mayweather v cotto)

Re: pacquiao vs bradley
I bet the fight goes at least 11 full rounds at even $ @ Bellagio a coupla weeks ago. Not sure how/if the line has moved since, but seemed like a good price to me. Bradley is pretty slick.

Re: pacquiao vs bradley
IMO bradley has no shot at KOing pacquio and pacquio could knock out bradley but I doubt that will happen (who knows though). I think bradley will be starstruck kinda like victor ortiz was against floyd mayweather. This fight is of extreme prestige compared to his 23 W's. And the speed of Manny pacquio is insane.
I mean the only thing that worries me is an accidental head butt which is know to happen in bradley fights.
