No additional advantage obviously. But it is my contention that the times probably don't change THAT much from one swim to the next given just another day or two. Somebody who is 0.8 secs better than the next closest competitor isn't likely to just get THAT much slower the next time out.

That's my hunch anyway. But I have no idea and haven't looked at past qualifying times compared with medal-round times. But based on the line movement evidently the bettors agree with that idea.

racing from the outer lanes is a minor disadvantage.

Anyone know when Pinny posts the 1Q/1H lines for the basketball?

Franklin is also swimming the 200m Free semifinal 20 min before the 100m Backstroke, so that might have something to do with the dramatic line movement. I have her in the backstroke as well and wish I would have known this before the fact

-1100 at 5d, be careful with +170 as it is most likely wrong line and prolly get freerolled. Just curios where you found that?

He pulled up like he was injured in his last race (Diamond League, Monaco http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYDdgXXY6KI), but then acted like there was no problem in the post race interviews.
