You're getting +220 ML or -220 for spread. Sorry I got confused here. I'm a new lurker.

No, he plays ML +120. He used decimal odds.

To the new people following this thread. I wouldnt bet with shadoe or even follow his advice. I dont think he knows whats going on lol.. he usually bets the underdog and they usually lose. Hence why hes only up 1 Unit for the entire season.
1 question for you shadoe how much are you actuallying betting each game? You make it sound like you know alot about sports betting which i find hard to believe.

I'm up one unit in this thread, I'm still having a good season overall with both money line picks (before I started posting them) and totals. I already said I just started to cap this season and not to follow me with serious money as there's a chance it's just me running above EV. Sorry if I've cost you money. I'll stop posting here now.

Havent cost me a dime. I just question your picks, it seems you like the underdog with + odds. IMO that isnt the best way to bet. I could care less if the underdog has good odds. I Bet to win, and most of the time favoruites win.

I find more value in underdogs is all. You are right I am probably not doing anyone here any good though, especially in a bit of a rough patch. BOL with your bets.

underdogs in hockey are where it's at. (imo)
hockey has a much higher luck factor than baseball/football/basketball.
not to mention shootouts.

Shadoe just keep posting no one is coming here looking for picks, I'd rather try and get some discussion going on your picks though lets get some NHL talk going.

Today my picks are

Winnipeg @ Detroit = +190
This to me is a rediculous odd to put on Winnipeg, they have won 4 straight and are coming off a huge shutout win vs Boston. Sure I don't think they win this game 50% of the time but the odds here are to good for me to pass up and I think this is a very profitable play.

Over 5.5 in the Vancouver @ Ottawa game. Ottawa has been giving up a lot of goals but they are also scoring a lot. 5 of their last 7 have going over and I don't believe that the goalie situation is ever solid in Vancouver seems like a safe bet to me.

Montreal @ New Jersey = -110

NJ is coming off a come from behind win against Ottawa as well as a OT win vs Toronto, I think they sweep the Canadian east teams as the Canadians are struggling this year with inconsistency.

YTD on NHL 12-2

Baba -

I like that thought process on the Jets. I also put half a unit on them. The only thing that concerns me is Detroit's home record. Do you think home/road records are that important in the NHL?

I do watch them play and I'm not hating on them sorry if my definition of solid doesn't quite match yours, their both not a top 5 goalie and Lu is sitting at just above .900 s% right now which is a career low so sorry if I don't have confidence in that. As for schnieder hes been hot lets set if he can keep it like that.

Took yesterday off as it was football day will be back with picks

These two teams are even match up & both on a slump; Tampa Bay is 1-6-0 while New Jersey is 2-5-0 in its last seven, Tampa Bay will have a only a slight edge at home, yes I agree NJ will take this one on the road.

Take NJ to win

I've been spending the last couple weeks developing a pretty extensive NBA model that I feel is going to be sick. Im going to keep fine tuning it until the season starts, and continue to improve it as the season goes.

I followed your picks toward the end of the NBA season last year, I look forward to comparing our picks/projections for this upcoming season

ok. good to hear
this season will be a slight different due to more b2b games; changes of personnel ie. dont expect GSW to be a gun &run upper tempo team, timberwolves is another different team under a new veteran coach. etc.
