came down to a sweat for that Under 227 didn't hit 228 til 12ish secs left? I mean that's all u can really ask for after most 3s in a 1st Q ever, jeez.

Feel ur pain for the Under and anyone on Cavs spread or ML jeez. I just somehow got lucky my computer froze right before I could place my Under, but that was the play.

Cavs just gave it up at the end. They were up by 6

Why on earth did Cleveland let Korver anywhere around the ball during clutch time? Dude was just a brick layer the entire game.

Why did Kevin Love shoot the and1 free throw in the 2nd Q when LeBron was the one that got fouled on that failed alley oop pass attempt to Love, in which the ball accidentally went through the hoop and registered as a 2 pt FG by James? As far as I could tell Love never touched the ball.

Love was fouled, so he shot the free throw.

It was a 3 pointer by lebron, with Love getting fouled. Love shot one free throw and made it.

It was a two pointer first off. Second the foul was off the ball (love was the one fouled) during the act of the shot so love shoots it.

Best part of last night was gs covering the 3.5. Cavs absolute collapse and lebron pulled his patented disappearing act during a tight game. Not to belabor an old talking point, but you think Jordan doesn't demand the rock for the entire last 5 mins of the game and especially the last 3 mins. And for lbj to have kd dagger him on the 3 and not touch the ball the next possession down 1 is just insane to me.

Love getting fouled makes sense. I thought it was LBJ that got fouled. It looked like Iguodala's hand got LBJ's right arm on the follow through after he got the shot off. Although that raises another question which I don't know the answer to--if a shooter's arm on the follow through after a shot hits a defenders hand, is that a (defensive) foul? Assuming the hand was just trying to block a shot and not moving. Or is it a foul only if the defensive player lunges toward the shooter? I play enough street ball that I should know the answers to these questions. I was always under the impression that as a defender you have to give the shooter space to follow through. If you impede that space and the shooter's hand/arm hits you on a "natural follow through", it's a foul. Is that correct??

Exhibit 1: I really feel that Jordan bet on games, and that he bet on himself to win (his bets). My reasoning for this. He's a know gambler on the golf course, and to the tune of million+. It's a slippery slop argument, I know. But I sadly feel that he was betting his own sport.

Exhibit 2: NBA is rigged. It IS insane that the bricklayer made last effort (to miss)!

Don't get me started on Falcons Superbowl loss...

Yeah for sure. There's no comparison between LBJ and Jordan when it comes to being an alpha. Kobe and Jordan were as good as they come in that regard. LBJ is quite beta in fact. I'm not trying to knock him, just pointing out a fact. You're either wired to be an alpha or you are not. LBJ isn't.

It's close to a mortal certainty he bet on games; whether or not he bet on games he played in may be another matter. but FWIW he had the attitude (and still does) that winning above all is most important, so I dont think that gambling primarily drove him to want the rock late in games.

Like the Under again I mean most 3s made in a 1st Q ever isn't going to happen again but idk sick of these playoffs can GS just sweep and the Finals be over already? lol most chalky, pathetic, non competitive playoffs throughout in recent memory by far with the exception of 99% of game 3.

I do agree with that last part. Jordan played a scoop-type, split game though. He wanted to win both pots. So him winning games made him win his bets. Or rather, in order to win his bets he had to win the game. Chicken and egg type thing. Did he want to win his bets first or the game first?
Nonetheless he's a hell of an athlete and competitor.

lean towards the under tonight with both teams ratcheting down the number of shots they look to take. have to imagine GS closes it out tonight.
