I found something interesting on 5dimes. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts.

They offer multi-chance pleaser tickets. I'll use one in particular for my example:

It's a 6 point giveaway, if you do a 9 teamer, getting 6-9 right pays +1000.

There's a lot of variance in NBA final game totals. Since you only have to go 6-3 to win 10x your money, I had a thought:

What if I please 9 games and take the over for 1u and please the same 9 games and take the under for 1 u.

I obv have a decent sized polish middle, but if I just go 6-3 I'm up 8u. You could hit it once every few days and still show profit. Plus the standard deviation for NBA totals is (I think) a little bit more than 12.

Thoughts?

I'm not familar with pleasers, bc I never used an online book, and local bookies don't offer them (afaik) Haven't actually inquired about them.

Well I'll have to crunch the numbers, but pleasing and total and spread costs/pays the same. But it doesn't seem like they are equal.

If a team is -3, you have to please them to -9.

This seems way harder to hit than taking a total from 188 to 194 and taking the over.
