Yeah, that's a correct stoppage.

Classy by Stann to not keep punching him when he was out before the ref stepped in - if the ref didnt stop it then it could have cost him though.

Serious KO power from guard there.

Ok Gustaffson, time to send the crowd home happy and send mr 'non human urine sample' to the unemployment line ASAP

Don't think there is a single LHW I hate more than Thiago Silva. Everything about him just reeks of scumbag.

Yeah so about that Diaz wouldn't beat Condit, Ellenberger, Koscheck, Shields, GSP, Fitch, Hendricks... he's barely top 10.

I mean, he *can* beat these guys but if their life depends on winning rather than entertaining i'd take any of them over Diaz.

Lol if you think either some of those guys think entertainment > winning.

I don't, hence why i'd favour them over Diaz.

Condit is naturally entertaining though, I've loved all of his fights including his win over Diaz.

Pretty sure Diaz can never be champ in a wrestler-heavy division which WW is.

So betting UFC is blindly bet favorites and profit then?

I'm terrified just by looking at silva. easily top 3 murderous look in ufc.

Silva looks scary but Gustafsson is Jones-esque out there

Come on Alex turn his lights out!

10-9 Gustafsson

20-18 but Silva just looks so dangerous too... as long as Gustafsson maintains his range he has it though

Closer third round, Gustafsson wins though. Last two rounds weren't as good as the first though.

Successful card for me overall, going to end up several units in the black, not sure of exact amount yet

crystal clear 30-27.

caching, my biggest bet of all time.

Alex looked incredible in the 2 first rounds, little less in r3 but still dominant. Best footwork/timing and hands in LHW? Idk why Silva wasn't pursuing a better gameplan, really strange. He's got a great chin as well, still I think he's going to struggle against wrestlers. I'd love to see Machida vs Gustafsson if he doesn't get an immediate title shot.

Gustaffson and Pickett were my equal 3rd biggest UFC bet ever, although they was more of a favourite than the other three (Belfort vs Johnson then Evans vs Davis then Werdum vs Nelson) so it wasnt that close in winnings

I may end up with more on Struve vs Hunt than any of my previous bets depending on where his line ends up, I have about 6.5u on him already and my biggest bet is around 7u

Also going to end up with an insane amount on Werdum vs Russow depending on odds and Thompson vs Brown depending on odds if either of them end up around where i'm expecting

r3 mostly coasting imo. his corner basically screamed at him to play it safe and avoid the right hand.

Nah, it kills one of them as a contender - if Evans wins the title, they need Machida to be a win away from a title shot since it's an easy sell (since he's Evans only loss) and if he loses to Gustafsson then he's just too far away.

Likewise Gustafsson is their only prospect deserving of a title shot, especially if Jones retains and Hendo challenges for the MW title instead.

Gustafsson/Jones if Hendo challenges the Silva/Sonnen winner and if Hendo challenges for the Evans/Jones winner next then Gustafsson/Lil'Nog as originally planned and have Machida face Davis or Bader (both fights super favourable matchups for Machida, and he's more marketable than either of them, so it's fine if they eat a loss to rebuild him)

Alternatively have Gustafsson face Bader, but that's riskier since he's probably more likely to have a gameplan to beat him than Lil'Nog is, and they clearly don't want Gustafsson to lose before he gets a title shot from a business standpoint

Also they need to make Silva/Vera II although with Vera facing Te Huna I suppose it makes more sense for him to just face the winner of that

I'd love to see Vera smash Silva's face in now that he doesn't have his roids and non-human-urine to submit for testing.

FYP

Winners fight winners and losers fight losers, except in rare occasions.

Vera's prbly gonna lose so that makes a lot of sense though

They need to give Alexander another fight before the titleshot. Preferably vs. Shogun/Page winner Machida or Bader.

lilnog is pointless. It's just more of the same like vs. Thiago except nog has less power, better hands.
