haha relax ^^ silva is still the rightful favourite as longtime p4p king... probably also a matter of preference how to bet (favs vs dogs).

as a sidenote... wouldn't it be better to bet straight on silva inside the distance? how often do you guys think will silva win by decision? at the moment roughly -175/64% ITD vs. -254/72%?

^ in the distance would probz be the bet... If the fight does go to dec, I think it is fair to say Weidman will probably be the victor.

Adding that with Yves Jabouin on ufc 161 Prelims for a +106 parlay. 3u on original one, 2u on all three of them.

Can Fitch ever lose here lol...

I wonder if Beerbohm is a good enough grappler to beat Volkmann...

I've been fading Barry nonstop but I think I might bet him here. -120 seems pretty good, Jordan was getting busted up by Russow for a bit.

Also any thoughts on Krause +210? Isn't every Stout fight a close decision?

I was actually considering betting against volkman as well, not sure I will be able to pull trigger though

I might actually go with a small bet on stout though. unless I remember wrong, he had the performance of his career in his last fight. Top that with the guys he's been in there with and he should win this fight.

Hmm is there more info about Gaethje and the stylistic matchup? He is 8-0 as a pro and his opponents have the following stats...

17-7
1-7
42-19
0-1
4-1
7-2
1-7
9-4

There sure are some cans in there... on the other hand he beat them all... and Cobb might fit right in with a 20-7 record although he has 7 wins in his last 10 fights and also fought once in the UFC (TKO loss to Terry Etim in 2009). Also fought in Sengoku and MFC and at WSOF 1 also.

This is whet I've gathered

For starters, Gaethje is 8-0 with a 7-0 amateur record (being a 15 fight win streak). Where Cobb is 17-7, coming off of a split decision win, and has lost 3 of his last 7.

Gaethje seems to be a finisher, with 7 of 8 pro bouts ending before the third round. (5 of 7 amateur before 3rd) and 4 of Cobbs 7 losses being before third) (also a TKO in early third)

Cobbs only real chance in this fight should be to outwrrstle Gaethje and grind the dec, where apparently Gaethje has some pretty good wrestling skills of his own, and has 3 submission Victories of his own that will be a serious threat if the wrestler that has already been submitted 4times in his pro career, does get this to the matt.

Also in sanctioned fights, cobs has gone 6-4, where all 15 of Gaethje's fights have been sanctioned (not sure how important that really is)

Lastly Gaethje fights one weightclass above Cobbs (not sure if moving up or down) but should have a size advantage, and with a title shot on the way and the ufc watching closely, the 24 year old has plenty of motivation to get 16 straight, where I don't think the same motivation is there for the aging 32 year old in Cobbs.

Gonna dig around for some videos of both fighters later and see what I can find, but even though I don't have alot if information on either fighter, I think it is enough considering how one sided the evidence is, on who will win.

I already have Barry at -120ish, will def add more if he he gets to evens. He's better than his record (he beats Crocop and Kongo usually) and Struve is top 15 and Lavar was just a bad-ish matchup for him since Lavar's weakness is being taken down and subbed and Barry's a striker.

Shields +160 or better seems like amazing value too, I have him as a small fav vs Woodley and already on Evans at -108. Already on Nelson too since I expect him to knock Miocic out (although I expect the fight to be competitive until he does)

Considering going to WSOF tomorrow, anyone gone to any of their events and was it worth doing?

Is everyone in agreement on Stout/Jabouin/Pierson being value? I don't know much about Stout's opponent but know Stout is a servicable mid level UFC vet who hasn't really gotten any better or worse in a while, I know Pague sucks and I tend to lean Pierson myself

His opponent beat Michael Johnson years ago but has lost to anyone else decent he's fought so it seems like an okay spot.

Dana has now revealed that Cain/JDS will probably be in October in Houston. Also, Bones/Gus will be in September. GSP/Hendricks will be in November in LV.

Jones -800 Gus +500

At what level do you guys think Gus is worth a bet?

I'm thinking any Gus ITD +800 or more is worth it just for randomness

Yeah, I figure "Gus wins via broken toe" should be about +950 by itself.

Will be hilarious if foot stomps are part of his strategy in this fight.

Haven't seen them used much in a while
