£50 on Caceres at 4.0
£200 on Holtzman at 1.6
£100 on Mitrione at 2.0
I think Caceres is decent value given Kron is still pretty inexperienced in mma. In his last fight against Kawajiri he didn't use much footwork or angles and pretty walked straight forward into the clinch. Obviously on the ground he destroys Caceres but I think being Rickson's son he is being a little over hyped.
Was super impressed with Holtzman's last performance against Patrick. Looks to be putting everything together and although Lentz won his last fight, he's a fighter on the decline with a lot of miles on the clock. I think Holtzman is better on the feet with more power and has good enough defensive wrestling to keep Lentz off him.
Surprised Mitrione opened as an underdog to Kharitonov. Kharitonov looked good against Nelson but I think style wise Mitrione matches up well against Kharitonov. Mitrione moves better on feet, has quicker hands, covers distance better. Kharitonov is probably a better grappler but he is usually pretty content to strike with his opponents.
Kharitonov's recent win streak looks good but its against the likes of Joey Beltran and Sokoudjou. I don't think Mitrione is amazing value but I do think he should a marginal favourite in this spot
Kharitonov has outstanding boxing. He's only been stopped once on the feet in his career and that was the early haymaker by Javy Ayala. Although Aleksander Emelianenko did catch him a couple times before Kharitonov went for a sloppy takedown which ended in a quick GNP stoppage. Kharitonov has only lost by decision once, back in 2004 vs Big Nog.
Personally, I think Kharitonov should piece him up on the feet but a ko from the more athletic Mitrione seems likely as well considering 11 of Mitrione's 13 wins have come by KO/TKO.
Few things:
1) Albu scares me now.. 3 fights in 6 years under contract????????????????????????? god shes a dime tho and Russian.. and Whitmire is uhhh... vanilla?
2) Lol @ Cain saying he needs to do more than take down Francis. That should be his entire gameplan only lol. Focus on takedown and avoid damage.. man it's making me want to lean towards Francis here.
Excited for this card, but really excited for the next one.
just taking meathead tonight. small bet, not a huge degree of confidence in it and wouldn't shock me one bit if he gets ko'd. but a totally worn roy nelson landed some shots so i think mitrione will be able to land pretty easily and should use his athleticism to get the win.

Nice bet!
I'm getting really old, both these kids were born after I graduated high school. Kimbel looks like a really nice prospect. It's probably good that he lost because some of these prospects are getting pushed way too much way too early. Not everyone is Jon Jones.

I am a Kongo fan (I really appreciate his movement minimalism, technique and how ageless he is), but I had it 29-28 Minakov (and that with giving Kongo Rd 3).
The MVP fight was a travesty. MVP clearly lost the first 3 rounds, then came back nicely in 4th and 5th and promptly won 48-47 on all 3 scorecards.
Then, Roy Nelson vs. CroCop fight. It was very clearly Rds 1 and 2 for CroCop and Rd 3 for Big Country. It does not take an expert to see this. At least the judges got the winner correctly, but how can you score Rd 3 for Cro Cop (1 judge had it 30-27)? Were you even watching the fight?
