If you actually reported this guy's post to any sort of authorities in Slovenia you are absolutely one of the biggest losers imaginable considering he wants to bet on, not against himself and as far as any of us can tell you don't care about MMA at all let alone regional Slovenian MMA.
Look I know you're not the smartest person in the world and get emotional really easy over nothing but do you really want to argue why this is stupid?

This has nothing to do with legal issues but more to do with ethical reasons. He is posting information about himself and showing intent to commit an unethical act? Do you not see how stupid that is?

I don't give two ****s but why would you put yourself out there for zero return? There are loads of people that view these forums and you don't know how they will react.

Since people know his name they can easily trace where he lives, works, etc.

I don't understand why anyone would post something stupid like this.

Great post, spot on post event.

For what its worth I agree it's probably unwise to post that he intends to bet on himself publicly, but I also don't think it's unethical to bet on yourself to win, so long as it's a pure straight up to win money line bet (obviously betting on any sort of a prop or against yourself in any way that would alter your approach to the fight is unethical and illegal in most/all jurisdictions). Betting on yourself to win doesn't influence the goal of the fight which is to win, as he would be trying to win regardless of the bet.

I do agree that it's unwise to post about publicly and some orgs would have rules against it though.

Nice night btw Jim and RB87 on Bellator

Anyone got any spots they love for tomorrow's card?

I'm leaning towards Chiesa, Penn/Siver doesn't go the distance and I liked the Moroz/Guida/Kish lines a bit but they've all moved in to where I think they're breakevenish. Maybe Moroz is still good, it feels like a bad stylistic matchup for her to some degree in that I don't trust her TDD, but I also don't think she's quite a 2-1 dog vs current Esparza. Case is kind of tempting as a small dog too.

I'm sure if I wake up in time to watch the event i'll fire a few bets but nothing stands out as must bet.

With Johny Hendricks missing weight and his motivation for even fighting under question, my favorite bet of the card is Tim Boetsch when he was +180 plus stabs on Boetsch KO, and Boetsch round 2 & 3 at nice odds. I think former welterweight Hendricks will have a hard time taking the former light heavyweight Boetsch down in this middleweight match up and on the feet, he could therefore be in trouble. Line moved back down a lot after Hendricks missed weight yet again. Hendricks lost both previous fights where he lost weight by the way. I'll post the rest of my action later this afternoon before the card starts like usual.

Think about it this way

If he fought 3 times in a year and bet on himself only twice then what would you do?

What if he bet 20k now and then 500 later?

Also a quick google search has shown that it is indeed illegal in slovenia since they are apart of the EU.

Anybody going to be in Vegas next week for the FN and 213 shows? I am 50/50 on if to fly out last min, hit a wsop 1k and go watch the shows.

If I win the Sunday Warmup I might come. Long way from Australia though but it'd be tempting to come last minute and play the WSOPME if I randomly bink something during majors.

Think I like all of those except i'd probably want a better price to take Koch ITD.

Hilarious that Hendricks missed weight at 185 given his body frame. I think once he stopped using 'horse meat' and lost the belt his heart's not in it anymore. I mean he should beat Boetsch easily but I expect a long boring grind to a close decision either way there unless either guy randomly lands a huge bomb.

I'm going to stay up for the card since I decided to pull an all nighter and play majors and sweat my Speith bet so i'll probably fire some late bets. Still have all of the same leans as earlier. Siver price is starting to get tempting with the Penn steam but not going to fire yet, only if it moves more. Penn got backed in late in his last two fights too due to casual fan money I assume and being an underdog. Granted Siver is no Edgar or even Rodriguez but I have to fade BJ against any competent fighter at this point

Only got one bet tonight and its BJ Penn at 2.75.
Mainly just for a sweat to be honest as I don't see much else I liked.
If BJ Penn has anything left it should be at least competitive.

I was liking the look of Moroz but looks like I left it too long as the odds have already shortened a lot.

Swoop - Surely a 3rd in the warm up will suffice?

RB87 - Moroz is still 3.10 with Ladbrokes and Coral.

tailing this,
several logical reasons but then we find out her "Favorite striking technique: Uppercuts" like +

Any women this beautiful AND her favourite striking technique is the upper cut, what is not to like here :-)

I think she should be very slightly the dog, not 21/10 no?
Esparza under performing recently. Moroz having nearly a whole year off, and any one a part of the Ukrainian National Boxing Team having a year off is going to get back in the cage ripped to all kinds of fitness levels its not worth worrying about.

Maryna Moroz
Esparza v Moroz Winner
21/10
Total Stake: £40.00
Potential Returns: £124.00

She looks to be a great striker, known for great strength, good submissions on the ground (great), and recently used her height advantage over another fighter to edge out a win. Off for a long period and one would imagine has improved her striking even more, more rounded.

Interesting to know how much heads up she got about her Esparza bout, if she got a big heads up it might be worth adding a little more?

Maryna Moroz day to day:
http://www.ufc.com/fighter/maryna-moroz

TRAINING:*My typical day of training at VFS academy: Wake up, eat breakfast, go train for two hours, go home, shower and change my clothes, then eat and rest for a bit. Around 2pm, back to the gym for another two-hour session covering all aspects of my game, grinding and learning new things every day, then back home. After some food and rest, do some more strength and conditioning, then rest time until next day, when I’ll do this all over again.*
*
Thoughts on opponent, Carla Esparza? I respect everyone who has the heart and courage to step in the cage and put their life on the line in order to compete on the biggest stage in the world. Carla Esparza is a former champion and tough mixed martial artist, and I respect her accomplishments. At the end of the day I work for UFC and I’ll fight whoever they will tell me to fight and on June 25th it’s strictly business and I am coming with full intentions to win that fight.
**
When and why did you start training for fighting? I was involved in martial arts from childhood. Boxing and Unifighting
*
What ranks and titles have you held? All titles are yet to be won
*
Do you have any heroes? My husband. But from fighters, I love watching Conor McGregor and Gina Carano
*
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means everything, just like it does for each athlete in this organization.
*
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Sports Science degree. I am a qualified and experienced boxing coach for the Olympic reserve team.
*
What was your job before you started fighting? Went straight to MMA after finishing with my education.
*
If any list specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Master of Sport in Boxing, Master of Sport in Kickboxing, member of Ukrainian National Boxing Team.
*
Favorite grappling technique: Armlock
*
Favorite striking technique: Uppercuts

Don't think Johny Hendricks has the power to trouble Tim Boetsch, plus we all know Hendricks is tired of the sport, he has had enough of it, where as Boetsch is HUNGRY and is a flipping beast. Take some thing special to beat Boetsch, don't see it in Hendricks, back in the day yeah maybe. today no so much.

Boetsch, is a legit scary dude, Hendrix is a past it pedigree fighter that is now quitting in fights when the fight does not go his way.

This fight is not going to go his way for some time, he has a mountain to climb in Tim that's for sure,

Tim Boetsch
Hendricks v Boetsch Winner

Reyes gets a great first round ko and gets a shot to call out anyone and he says he needs to heal up and rest after taking no damage? Just amazes me how these guys can make it to the big show and not be ready to play the game. Pick a hittable top 15 guy and ask for it on one of the July cards.

Yamasaki jumped the gun on that RNC stoppage in the main event but it was good for me. Those last three fights pulled me out from -$450 up to +$759. Love having three days of fights in a row: LFA 14 $200.00, Bellator 180 $1464.50, UFC $759.13= awesome weekend!
