Made my first and possibly only two bets of the card

0.5u MM/Cariaso under 4.5 rounds -108
1.2u Thompson/Cruz/Masvidal parlay +101

I think Eastons cut was the 4 losses in a row, very few fighters get away with that.

If he gets a couple of wins outside the UFC he'll be back

Where are Alvarez Cerrone and Kennedy Romero lines going to close?
Like Cerrone now and Kennedy is close but would feel better if line improves a bit.

Hard to tell, Cerrone/Alvarez has been swinging between +100 and -110 for both fighters, Romero's the one being bet so if you like Kennedy i'd say last minute probably especially because Romero will look bigger/better at weighins probably

I'm considering Kennedy myself if he climbs above +150 although will probably just not bet it

Romero and Cerrone both probably going to get bet in big as the fight approaches.

Edgar/Swanson announced as main of the Austin card

Would love to get Edgar -150 or something here in a 5 rounder although that seems like a bit of a stretch

I actually think the UFC is doing it to set Swanson up to lose so that they can give the title shot to McGregor if he beats Poirier, although if Swanson beats Edgar he's undeniably the #1 contender. If Edgar beats Swanson and one more top 5 guy (Lamas/Bermudez winner maybe especially if its Bermudez since he'd deserve a shot by then too?) he can't be denied a rematch at Aldo either imo especially because he came closer than anyone to beating Aldo (or Mendes, if he beats Aldo obviously)

Exciting times ahead in the FW division, same with BW really with Barao, Assuncao and Cruz assuming he wins all coming up for Dillashaw

FW has some combination of Swanson, Poirier, Edgar, Bermudez and McGregor waiting for the Aldo/Mendes winner

LW is looking good too, if Pettis beats Melendez then he has Khabib, the Cerrone/Alvarez winner and RDA in the mix and then if Melendez has the title he has Bendo as well to worry about

Also, UFC has announced a Korea card, would be great if it randomly happened to fall during APPT-Seoul next year, Kim, Lim, KZ, Nam and Kang could make a nice main card if given suitable non-Korean opponents. Kim vs Ellenberger maybe to give him a name/winnable fight, KZ vs Guida or Holloway or something, Lim (how the hell is he still ranked 53 on fightmatrix vs someone like Howard or Ebersole who he should beat - would be a pretty decent UFN style card, then if they want to make it a PPV (unlikely) they can just add a title fight at the top of the card

Edgar up to -170 I feel. Think the value will be on Swanson though. People love them some Edgar.

LW and FW are so stacked, you could see either top 5 guy in those divisions be a champion and the belt switching hands every year.

Well Edgar arguably hasn't lost a fight since he became LW champ depending on how you score both Bendo and Aldo fights (Bendo 2 was clearly for Edgar, others are more debatable)

Cub has a nice win over Poirier but all of his other wins are over fighters Edgar would beat easily (and I think Edgar matches up well with Poirier too)

I'd expect it to open at something like Edgar -200 Swanson +160

lol Edgar only beat Aldo if you suck at scoring fights. It wasn't hard to see that Aldo deserved to win that.

It's "arguable" in the same sense that you "could argue" Kobe is better than Lebron at basketball. Sure you could argue it, but you would be wrong.

Edgar has had some close fights, but I think the majority agrees he lost 1st penn fight, lost 1st Benson fight and lost 1st Aldo fight.

Old news i guess, but i just saw Nate Diaz is set to return in December vs RDA. Tough fight to call. Think i take Diaz at evens, despite RDA's last performance.

There isn't a fight on that card I'm not excited to see. so pumped.

You can feel the tension through the screen in the latest embedded episode. If Mighty Mouse is getting ppv points, he's gotta give Conor a HUGE Christmas present.

McGregor's singlehandedly brought more exposure and attention to this card. You can feel the hatred that Poirier has for McGregor.

This fight has stolen the embedded series.

Rumors being reported that McGregor has an injured hand, I've taken Dustin due to price:

Bad news if Conor is injured hopefully its not serious.

So far I have 5 units on Romero at -120 should be able to hedge 3 units and leave myself with 2 units at odds of around -105 if the line stays the same hoping it goes a bit further and get Romero at + money.

Also have a unit on Stephen Thompson and Sergey Kovalev to beat Hopkins in November which is 1 unit to win 0.75 and a freeroll with Matchbooks free bet offer on Poirer to win 1.15 units.

Really stacked card with some awesome prelim fights too can't wait.

Thats a great price! He's -143 on pinni. I'll be really surprised if it improves as that book is way off anything else available.

You can actually take Kennedy at +129 right now

I just noticed DC is on the prelims... what the fk? How does this make any sense... This is prob one of the best fights on the card, second only to Alvarez vs. Cerrone imo. Only reason I can think of would be that they want a big fight to headline fox, but since when have they done that?

They did the same with Faber right? against Caceres. I would think the PPV is strong enough that adding Cruz probably would not increase PPV buys that much and he'll probably get more exposure on Fox. Which is good for him after having like 3 years out.

Haven't paid much attention to the prelims but every fight I feel is decent for prelims and 2/4 of them are relevant when it comes to contenders, DC/Miz and Cote/Thompson (more like if Thompson takes the next step). The other 2 are still decent for prelims, and at least it is veterans.

well, its not like theres any bad fight on the main card anyway, compared to the 175 card

Does Cruz still get ppv points? Would assume he is still under the same contract. Not sure how all that works, but sounds like a reason.
