I forgot two judges scored it 29-27 so yeah a majority draw was most likely if Shevchenko won the last two rounds.

Crazy how far TAM's results have fallen off since Bang Ludwig left. Faber made a HUGE mistake because of his ego there with their falling out.

Only one bet for the next card and imo incredible value at current odds:

Will Brooks (-255) vs Alex Oliveira.

Imho Brooks has many paths to win this.

His boxing is excellent and really nice head movement; if Alex gets too aggro he gets taken down x3. Brooks has very high fight IQ, if he takes down Alex at any point during the rounds he will probably control him to win the round. He will turn to his wrasslin if he starts losing the standup.

I'm not a fan of big bets on worst than -200 faves but I see a lot of value here. Will Brooks should close at around -325 imo. In my opinion Brooks is closer to a -360 fave. Oliveira has a puncher's chance in the 1st but Brooks has too good head movement and decent chin, if he fades it's in the 3rd and even then he can easily take down Oliveira to cruise the round.

6.5u to win 2.55u

Good luck every1 !!

Will take conor over Alvarez I think. Osp bisping Dodson smolka and brooks all should win over next few cards. Hope weidman sorts his issues so he can fight Romero he risks being left behind if he doesn't

If Alvarez is a substantial dog I will hopefully be on him. I think Alvarez fights an ugly fight which doesn't favour Conor. If Eddie clinches the whole time like he did against Pettis I think he can grind out a W. Conor wants to do the opposite which is be in open space to kick and land his left hand. I think the weakest part of Conor's game is standing in the clinch (and ground?)

Its kinda weird how much Weidman's stock has gone down. He was in the GOAT conversation after beating AS twice and now he is kinda seen like just another good top 5 er.

I hope Conor gets the win in impressive fashion and then we get +odds on Khabib.
Would probably be my biggest mma bet ever if that happens.

Conor would probably go back to 145 and fight Aldo though.

mcgregor is -150 and alvarez +230, For these odds I think alvarez is definitely the pick, but I don't like to bet against mcgregor :/

Putting 2 units (100 dollars) on lineker for the next card, I think it will be a close fight with Dodson but I am confident of his incredible power and chin. I hope Dodson won't be too fast for him.

Ironically, Dodson/Lineker will be a bigger draw that any MM fight for the simple reason a KO could occur at any moment. The possibility of a stoppage at any second is what the Flyweight division needs to garner interest.

I love MM but he just isn't that fun to watch as he usually just cruises through people to a decision.

I agree MM isn't that big of a draw, but he has finished 5 out of the last 7 fights he's had. A couple were late, but finishes none the less

I find myself really enjoying most MM fights, even the ones that go to decision. At least there's always something going on :P

As for Dodson and Lineker this weekend... I'm not sure I understand how Lineker is the underdog? Dodson is fast and has power, but Lineker hits like a guddam truck. I'm gonna have to watch more film on that obviously. Should be a crazy fun fight though

I just looked over the 205 card and it looks amazing. Better than 200 of 202 IMO. I really can't wait

205 looks great if everyone stays healthy.

Guess I'm in the minority liking Dodson over lineker.

Liking conor -135 and Weidman -170 for 205. Might take kk vs JJ if she's a big dog. I think I like wonderboy at -191 but will play the -5.5 pts hopefully at like -110 or -120 instead. Bisping osp and Belfort wins in r1 might all be tempting too for 204

Khabib vs Johnson on 205 too. Wow this card is insane. Hoping khabib opens at better than -200

Dodson is very live in this fight IMO, but I'm just trying to work out what a Dodson win looks like: he's probably got to stay on the outside sticking and moving for all five rounds without Lineker being able to find his chin, right?

Lineker likes to come forward, and other fighters have been able to pressure Dodson onto the fence where his speed and mobility (and power) are negated.

I can see paths to victory for both guys, I dunno it just seems like Lineker's is the clearer / easier to execute one to me?

Apparently Conor's foot busted up still. Might explain why he's only -129 and the money's been on Alvarez so far. Might wait and see how his training's been going partway through camp. I do like Conor at that price but only if he's 100% by fight day.

Surely the plan is to win the 155 belt and then give up the 145 belt the next day just to say he simultaneously held two belts. Not sure he can still make 145, maybe he wants to give the belt up but would prefer to win another belt first. No idea what he's going to do if he doesn't beat Alvarez, but I assume he's confident that he's going to.

I was initially really confident in Alvarez but at the press conference he said he wasn't going to use the same gameplan as he did against Pettis. I am not sure if he is telling the truth or what. If I knew Alvarez was going with a wrestle heavy game plan I would unload on him. If Alvarez is planning on boxing then anything can happen and it will likely play out similar to Diaz/Mac II with a close decision.

Sounds like Dana might add Jose to this card to please him. What a wild event this is gonna be. I can only imagine how much money I'm going to lose

If you go to Bj Penns Twitter it's a tweet(7 hours ago) with a link to article where Dana is quoted saying if Jose wants on the card he can find something for him. This is where I saw it

http://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/dana-...uest-released/

Re reading it now it doesn't say on 205 specially actually. Dana might just be saying if Jose wants a fight now like khabib did then he can find so
sonething.

Thats a pity, was hoping for -200. If Johnson got out to +450 could maybe be worth a play as he should have the slightly better boxing but I expect Khabib to ragdoll and potentially sub him

If they added Aldo vs Holloway to this card that would be pretty sick - even if it's for the interim belt it's effectively for the real belt since Conor is overwhelmingly likely to relinquish the 145 belt if he wins the 155 belt and if he doesn't then it's basically Aldo defending his #1 contendership for the Conor fight - even if he loses he could always fight Conor in a superfight at 155 anyway and it would draw even without it being for a belt if they both somehow lost, although it'd mean Conor would have to either be without a belt or fight Holloway for the 145 belt first.

Personally I hope Conor just wins the 155 belt so we can have a whole pile of fresh matchups for him at 155 as well as the Nate rubber match for the belt eventually, and whoever wins out of Aldo and Holloway can rule over 145, or if it's Holloway then we can see Holloway vs Edgar as well once Edgar gets a win or two.

If they add Aldo vs Hollway to 205 it will without a doubt be the strongest card ever on paper, when your #9 fight is Evans vs Kennedy and it would be your #10 fight in terms of relevance if this is added to the card you know it's a good card. Every fight above that on the card both fighters are top 10 at least.

I really hope more money comes on Romero, would love to get Weidman at -120 or so. In to -165 now, I was happy with -175. No plays this far out for the card but at first glance I expect to be on Conor, Wonderboy, maybe Karolina depending how the steam goes (if she gets to +350 I def will), Weidman, Gastelum as a dog, maybe Rashad as a dog. Edgar by decision seems tempting especially if it's at evens. Khabib by submission might be tempting if the price is decent. Pennington could be value as much as I love betting on Tate especially if her price rises. Probably only if she gets above +300 though. Liking that Wonderboy is back to -170, if he gets back to the -150 he opened at i'll lock it in early, otherwise i'll just wait until closer to the fight. Woodley has a habit of steaming in every fight so hopefully he does - I feel like most of the casuals are on Wonderboy so i'm probably fading some 'sharp' money but I feel in this case the casuals have it right and Woodley is just going to get outclassed on the feet and be unable to land a takedown. I mean, Rory didn't even look competitive standing vs Wonderboy and he crushed Woodley on the feet and he never got it to the ground either, granted he wasn't shooting constantly or anything but I don't think Wonderboy's been taken down since the Matt Brown fight when he was very green and he's a vastly improved and matured fighter since then.

They said 202 was the real 200, but now I think it's 205 is the real 200.

Dana's also said that in addition to Rousey being offered Nunes probably for 207 for the belt that Rousey's open to fighting Cyborg. As much as I think she should stick to the 'make 135 if you want the fight' line and force Cyborg to lose muscle if she wants the payday, i'd definitely watch a catchweight bout at 140 between them. Not going to happen until after Rousey's fought for the belt at least though and i'm sceptical it ever will
