being run through ESPN. standard survivor rules you pick 1 team each week and if they lose you're out. once you pick a team you can't use them again the rest of the reason.

only difference is because the pools so big, in weeks 14-16 you have to make 2 picks instead of just one

its 50% to first. i believe its 50/25/15/10 for top four, with the remaining 10% going to the two sidepools i mentioned above

my friend has been running these pools for years. theres multiple payment options (check/paypal/quickpay/venmo/you can ask him if neither of those work) and he's pretty accommodating for whatever method you prefer

its a legit pool, the guys been running it for years and its very well organized. I've sent the invite to a handful of people so far, and they could probably attest to how thorough the commissioner is. its a fun pool, if you don't trust it then obv don't do it but I'm pretty confident in saying that nothing will go wrong

the reason its so big is because he runs pools for March Madness every year, and those get huge (5k-6k people), so a lot of those people rollover and do the survivor pool

1k would be great, but it's kinda hard to calculate the exact pot without manually going through and seeing who had multiple entries etc...but I'm assuming he sends out an email with final details after it's closed prob?

its not that hard to estimate the total prize pool - the range is only from $25-$27.5-$30/entry (and the majority of people just have 1 for $30). i think its safe to say 1st place will get over $15k at this rate

in the sense that you don't have to pay anything to get in them

personally i like it this way a lot more. id rather have 2 fun sidepools that you have a chance to win instead of just giving that money to 4th or 5th place. especially in a survivor pool where you could lose in week 1 and be eliminated
