Not saying I think this happened but it does seem like a pretty easy set up if you think about it. Get transfer, say you were hacked and never got the money.

Yes.

How exactly does one go about proving they are hacked, and not running the scam themselves? I won't hold my breath.

I don't really think its strange that someone who hasn't posted on 2p2 in almost a year doesn't come back to defend his rep from a known crazy person. (Probably would help if Bruiser didn't spend his time making 281231231 gimmicks to attempt to solicit handouts from people.)

Generally when a well known poker pro's name is involved in a large theft they come forward to explain the situation publicly so that their name doesn't get muddied. I'm not saying asdf is involved just saying he isn't handling this with professionalism.

I doubt asdf knows Bruiser is a crazy person.

I'm confused, how did Post-Oak lose money from Bruiser getting scammed? Are they the new TEAM?

Sure. But lets take in some relevant information: 1) He no longer even posts on 2p2. 2) He was banned several days ago. 3) He spoke to bruiser.

And obviously that he masterminded this in such a way that he was able to provide lazy vetting (lol at people saying that a casual post equals a financial guarantee) from associates, while not providing vetting from other people that would have exposed this as an inside job.

It would be so much easier to just sell off 300% of a tourney than mastermind this 10 month criminal escapade for low five figures.

I don't know.

But he doesn't understand how Twitter works. I find it quite amusing. Old people man. I should probably kill myself before I can't figure out how technology works either.

$6,000 seems about fair fee for all the bull**** bruiser has pulled on this forum the past few years creating a new account every week to beg for handouts. What beautiful karmic justice. This made my day))

I hope Post Oak gets in here and clears all of this up. I mean... We wouldn't want to have him getting labeled a scammer from not publicly explaining his transactions.
09-05-2016 , 06:35 PM
wait what does Post Oak have to do with any of this?

He still hasn't even come to 2p2 to post here and warn people. At least two people have been scammed out of about $15K. How would you feel if someone hacked both your 2p2 and twitter and scammed 2 people out of $15K? Would you post a warning on 2p2? Would you comment publicly? Would you try to help them out, or just clam up?

He told Dan that jasbral was previously targeted by probably the same hacker and that jasbral told him what state the hacker is from and may know more. Jasbral says in this thread he has no idea what that refers to and that he is not saying any more. Thanks guys! Appreciate the help.

Another thing is that when Joshua did get on chat with Dan he told him that he shouldn't trust a 2p2 account, that it is not secure, that he should have only used twitter cause he does do business on twitter and never 2p2. And he said his twitter was not hacked. Then he found out from his friends that his twitter had been hacked and all of a sudden twitter was also an unreliable way to deal with him, he had 0% responsibility for his twitter. Huh?

He just doesn't seem all that concerned that two different posters were scammed. At the very least he should be perma-IP banned from 2p2. I would call it dangerous negligence or callous disregard at the least.

maybe we should pool our money together and invent a video conferencing software where we could see each others faces

so we could check to see if the person is really who they say they are before we engage in financial transactions
