Just curious, anyone feel like posting reasons they are against Heritage? I was thinking of re-upping for baseball season.

Heritage famously stiffed a casino player on claims that he cheated with zero evidence to support it.

On the sportsbook side Heritage deals relentlessly generic market lines to strictly droolers. They are bumhunting leeches, terrible for the industry.

N Amer players will have a low likelihood of payment or wagering issues with

B00km_kr/D$i
5Dymz
B*v@da
B_tPh*enx
J@zz$p0rts

B_t0nlyne *probably* fine...I guess. They've done their thing for a long time now without too many complaints but something about them rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's the fact they're B_t0nSp-rts with a fresh coat of paint and all liabilities magically wiped away!

Thanks, and thanks. Appreciate your color.

I miss the days of free horrible gambling sites shwag. I still have a sweet full tilt poker golf bag and I used to have awesome pokerstars coasters. I even had a full tilt bath robe which was awful. I wonder where that robe is too.

Just out of curiosity, why do you think B_tPh*enx and J@zz$p0rts have a "C" and "B-" grade, respectively, from SBR?

(By the way, above isn't meant to be argumentative -- I actually have no experience with either of these two books, and I have no idea if SBR's rating is off-base or unfair in any way. But I would like to learn more, and am curious about your thoughts.)

1040 Schedule C Line 31 > $100,000

We did it!
TY old curmudgeons for all the advice as I had a slow and steady climb to that number for sb activity over the past decade. Came so close last year. F&%^ all you thin-skinned young'uns who chased the old curmudgeons away.

Yes, I've had other sources of income most of the way, so I wasn't starving.

SBR had an affiliate package that won seven figures off BP. Rather than take their $0 cut from that mess, SBR decided to shake down BP and said, "Hey, let's split off these (winning) Euro accounts and you can pay us our 30% cut of the losers. Sound good?" BP obviously told them GFY. Thereafter, "C" was the rating ceiling without kickbacks. Five years later, BP has had no material complaints and every penny was paid to players. The majority of operators would have stiffed everybody and opened up shop under a new URL, a la SBR darling BetIslands.

The other group was a solid well-run B+ for a decade, then they got lazy and took some big lumps. Again it's a case where they could have disappeared with all the money but they refocused on the profitable aspects of their business and ground down all the debt, albeit slowly.

SBR once valued their integrity more than money but fancy new buildings, a bloated incompetent staff, ownership divorces & kids in private school can't be paid for with sterling reputation. That's not to say they're entirely corrupt. To this day they still turn down large checks from a lot of truly scummy sites.

This may or may not be 100% speculation, the imaginings of a bitter madman.

I have a message. On April 16th in the year 2015 at 4:12am pacific time, the server 'tomgtotalbases' was shot down... over the Sea of Japan. It spun in and .. there we no survivors"

after 1391 days of valiant service it has been retired due to a hard drive failure.

Luckily a daily backup was found from an hour before the incident and at 4/16/2015, 10:20am pacific time, tomgtotalbases2 became aware.

Lets get this money tomg

^ What is this server? And is it publicly accessible?
04-16-2015 , 01:56 PM
private server i made to use for daily mlb projections for betting which was re-named in 2011 after the great tomg total bases. it scrapes all the data, does the calculations, runs all my webpages, and tells me what to bet and what fantasy teams to construct.

2 days ago i knew something was wrong when a script that usually takes a minute (it just tracks win/loss for day and sends me an email with graphs and useless stuff so i can wake up and go instantly to depression) to run took 3 hours. i tried to save it, but there was nothing i could do for it.

How's that sportsbook.com affiliate deal working out? Has it been a blessed partnership?

We always knew you could do it MyT, even if they took those 10k H1s away during MM.
