UNC to win it all
Cavs not to make NBA finals.

I got 20/1, 200/4K.

I think those are pretty bad odds. UNC to win it all is probably 10/1, and then the odds of the Cavs not making the finals has to be at least 3/1, id say you should have gotten at least 30/1 odds

Anyway, hard to get action on such an odd prop so I took what I could get.

Process of elimination: Duke isn't gonna win it, UK isn't going to win it, UCLA isn't, UofL isn't, Kansas isn't, Nova not unless lightning strikes twice ... Fla St, Arizona, Oregon ... nope, nope, nope.

That is a hugely -EV bet.

I took the price which is maybe the only one on earth I could get. There is no line on parlaying these two events that I can get with the places I've been cut off. If there are numbers up all over the place and you take a big slight ... dum dum. It's way less than 20/1 to happen in my book. But an admitted novelty type bet mostly for fun.

If you are in the Carolina camp hard on the title ... well, the James thing is wildly speculative admittedly. But this attitude that they have a bye into the finals for duration of his career is dum dum too. Not true for anybody who ever played including Bill Russell.

If I had realized at the time that UNC was still priced that high, true, I wouldn't have liked the line. But I think that 15/1 is a joke, so again, I'm taking what I can get on the spot. Also in good position should UNC win to move on every CLEVE series.

Great process of elimination on UNC winning the championship. Reminds me of when this guy offered me even money on a dice roll where he let me pick two numbers. I was like, one?--no. Four?--no way. Five or six?--nope, nope. I don't know if the line he gave me was fair, but it didn't really matter.

Also, you do realize that you could ask most books for this line and they would give it to you at a better price, right? Also again, you realize the NBA playoffs start after the NCAA championship game, so assuming Cleveland doesn't collapse (which won't happen according to process of elimination: will Cleveland collapse?--no), you could just parlay it manually?

Could've gotten ~ +4100 on 5Dimes parlaying the exact same things. The price is not good.
