Hourly, ROI, and indeed any stat is fairly useless for determining how good a sports bettor you are, as long as they are positive. I work in the industry and thus know and talk to lots of other winning sports bettors and there is no objective way to say who is better - the guy who doesn't put that much time into his own betting but picks off 10%+ ricks on obscureish markets or the guy who bets every single edge he spots including some pretty small ones.

I'm up less than 1k (~500 Washingtons), but if I had bet Tigers/Patriots (like jdock100 did) instead of Tide/Giants last f-ball season, I'd be slightly in the red -- goes w/o saying, but I'm a low roller.

on a typical NFL season ill make around 2k probably or I could lose as much as 1k, but last year I won like 1.7k

You gotta know not to chase. If you lose big during the 1pm games you cant go and bet realy big during the 4pm games to try to get even becuase you can end up losing alot
