2nd...chit! Hedged $50 on the #5 my B choice there but me being too damn smart of course and not playing it for a whole $6...always feel i can beat it cheap. Oh well made some $$ had a sweat but overall still a cheap azz no doubt.

curious of others opinions - SA horses seem to always run much worst speed figures elsewhere. anecdotally whenever i see a SA horse at another track i usually roll my eyes at the speed figures. they seem way way way high. but i dont really have data on it. classic empire ran a 108 bris and he very well may have run that fast. just not sure i want 3/5. looking elsewhere maybe Motion's Irish War Cry

Good call on Irish war cry. I played classic empire for a small win bet. He seemed like early kd favorite... will have to see how he does in 2nd race after layoff but I'm guessing he prolly won't be top dog. El Areeb looked really good at aqueduct in the withers.

jkpoker10 - i know im an ass, but that comment wasn't personal. constructively, i think that was a poor price. just my opinion of course.

i dont have data on this or an amazing memory but the early NYRA derby prep winners dont do much in the derby i dont think.

update: quick look at recent Withers winners, not a lot of world beaters in there, yikes. also Revolutionary's win was 5 years, god.

Hey everybody, been out skiing the last couple weekends and havent made it over to SA as much as I would like! I like the line up for the pick 6, but not sure on the last leg. Any thoughts on race 8 today? Any value on the 11? Probably will throw all three horses (10,7,11) on the ticket. I feel 4 is good value in race 6, if it stays near the opening line. Any opinions?
