yeah exaggerator's odds gonna plummet if it's an off track

Is track rated good or fast? I assume fast since it didn't rain much but I'm still a noob in horse game. Hmm need Danzig candy to finish top 3 or two of Mohaymen, nqyuist, and gun runner to finish in top 3 for my trifectas.

Anyone still alive in the pick 4 is a genius imo. Gl everyone in the derby.

I don't look for Exaggerator to b head and head with Nyquist approaching the far turn. maybe in the stretch but not the far turn.

So what are the details of the Derby day carry? I'm cheesed off and want another swing at my money. Ended 8-13 4/6. Worked up over that sequence. Another dam Kitten busted my chops. Man those guys are clutch in KY.

If u thought Exaggerator was the better horse going in to the race and that the question to you was can Nyquist run with Exaggerator *Great* that's your opinion. That's what the game is all about.

As for this, "that would make for a great battle at the far turn and stretch"

There was no great battle between Nyquist and Exaggerator at the far turn. At that point Nyquist was 3rd a couple of lengths behind DC and your boy Exaggerator was about 7 lengths behind Nyquist.

At the top of the stretch Nyquist took over the lead and at that point Exaggerator was still around 6 or 7 lengths behind the winner. Sure he made up ground in the stretch but he never threatened the winner.

If you thought that was a *Great Battle* between the two horse's, All The Power To You*

To me it was just another *Ho Hum* stretch run

You got it man and glad it worked out well for you also. I set that game plan first myself on the wagering side because CHD had some .50 PK3's then capped and saw it made sense still with the prices and did the same.

Did some really good things this year and will always follow this recipe from here on out. I know as i had mentioned there are sharp guys and gals in this game i just know i am better and prefer the desperate ground (art of war) i put myself on and feel proud of my work and product i put out.

Going to cap late PK4 everywhere because i enjoy the work and need to get caught up on SA. Belmont just caught a peek yesterday and saw Andy Serling's hair was getting blown around so knew it was a windy nasty day and hard to take anything for me anyways from days like that off the track for notes.

Got crushed on derby day which is the norm. Nyquist was insanely awesome. Thought he would falter but not the case. For him to finish the way he did while following a 45.7 half mile was very impressive. You would have thought the closers would have crushed which such a fast pace up front but not the case oddly enough. Mohaymen did a solid job, thought they should have had better jock on him though. The position was pretty meh. He should have been way closer to front. Break looked bad for him but he was just way too far behind to make a first place winning move at the stretch. Probably wasn't winning the race unless nyquist had rough trip.

Think nyquist wins the Preakness and probably loses the Belmont to afresher horse. Belmont distance is always a wildcard. Hoping he doesn't win tc as I think it kinda taints American pharoahs run and I'm a huge pharoah fan.

These past two derbys have been horrible for most part for Tri and super bettors. I ended up hitting the tri but it paid so little. I just find it crazy favorites have won the derby the past 3 years especially since it's a 20 horse field. I think the favorites winning can be slightly due to the point systems. I feel having sprinters in past with extremely quick early fractions really helps closers and helps make the results a little more random. I know this year had a fast pace but just seems since points system, less big dogs are coming in.

2013: $1 ex 490..tri 3500..super 28k

2014: $1 ex 170..tri 1700..super 7500

2015: $1 ex 36..tri 100..super 634

2016: $1 ex 15..tri 86..super 540

Point system came in in 2013

The favorite can win..but u can still get a bang for your buck like in 2013-14

Only time will tell whether the point system is good or bad for the *Gambler*

I tend too think large payouts will continue into the future

Great job with the picks Honcho! Wish I had been tailing these. A golf tourney on derby day got in the way. Still made some bets after the round but a few cocktails in I wasn't doing much besides trying to get as many exotics in as possible using my phone.
Sadly those came up snake eyes as I was mostly playing against the favs.
Didn't know rain had hit the track until they were close to loading. I think I would have used Exaggerator more. I didn't hear NBC mention that once in the ~50 minutes leading up to the race but it's possible I missed a mention.
Golf tourney was fun but I also missed chance to do one of my favorite strats on derby day. Betting the 10-25 odds in larger fields at the bigger name tracks when it's early in that track's racing season. I like doing a fair amount at Santa Anita as well.
