Had a small savor bet on the 3 horse at 7-1. Got most of my money back. Had the 3 originally in there, but was trying to save money.

Let's try the pick 3 here. Going to have to go a little shallow here.

Race 3: 1,3,7
Race 4: 1,4,6
Race 5: 1,5,6,7

Really was hoping to get better odds on the 7 horse here in the first leg. Probably play a super with him singled up top.

Thought my 16-1 shot had a shot to get up there.

Beholder wins a qualifier for the Breeders Cup Classic. You decide. That or the Distaff.

American Pharoah gets the go ahead for the Travers finally. https://mobile.twitter.com/jazz3162

Let's get these two together in the breeding shed later, but how amazing it would be to get AP qualified in the Gold Cup for a wide open BC Classic?

The colt has little to lose, the triple crown virtually guarantees him HOY honors.

Top mare, against 3 year old triple crown winner, against the best older horses. It would be the race of this century by 12 furlongs.

Saratoga 8/24/15

1.) 6-1-4
2.) 8-6-5
3.) 1-5-3
4.) 7-5-4
5.) 1-5-4
6.) 4-1-8
7.) 8-5-3
8.) 1-5-4
9.) 2-7-6

Goes without saying again but another tough Toga card no doubt today. The obv "storyline" today is the #3 in the 6th today but for myself i do not include that in my handicapping but to each their own i mean who the hell am i to say what angle a person should use to wager their own money...no matter how much it makes me smile

Got to be able to laugh at yourself in this game and in life in general and usually by 8pm i can come back take a look at my 3 to fade and get a good laugh myself.

BOL to all itt with their plays this week

Was just lurking reading. Seen the storyline quote cheapshot i guess. Lol nothing bothering i laugh really. It seems now everything i said was all storyline bets lol. Like breaking down the derby and what happen. Lol also the work all week. Must of just been a hunch not paying attention to the horse all year or jock or mid west thoroughbred in general. Not here to get defensive and im sure i said sometimes somethings like beholder this past weekend. Like bens cat 5th in a row. My comment was basically sometimes all the studying isnt necessary. Fire away now. Gl all

Also like i said we all think different. Todays storyline to ME isnt finding the cheapest value and betting it but rather beating it or skipping the race if it looks like cant lose. My story line would be irad ortiz jr killing the meet with great average pay out.

Cheap shot? I think everyone itt recognizes but you i was having fun with what you said and defending the fact to choose whatever horse for whatever reason. I will not waste time on someones feelings once again and seems silly i have to again for that reason among grown damn men supposedly. Look forward to the invite to yours or B3 thread on horses maybe you can call it Over My Head or B3 call his I play well with others...Either way last i comment on this junk and BOL to you both man.

If the girl beats the boy in the Breeder's Cup does she get Horse of the Year?

Honor Code and company are a bit tougher customers I'd say. Gonna be a good watch if they all make the gate on Halloween.

I don't think so. The triple crown is such a huge achievement. It would be very hard to take horse of the year away from that. Although if she could pull it off, she would have every right to stake her claim to the title.

It's true, there is a lot tougher group of classic horses in training on the East Coast, than what she beat at Del Mar. But wow, the time she put in, the way she is in top form right now. If she were my mare, and stays in the same condition, or better than Del Mar, I don't see how you cannot give her a chance to prove herself.

The perfect storm is aligning.

I know i was thinking the same thing to myself Saturday after the PC trying to see forward like everyone else but for the reasons Grenzen pointed out about the TC. Similar scene coming together as it did between Big Z winning the BCC in dramatic fashion compared to the brilliance RA showed through the yr at all the different tracks. No wrong answer imo.

Good add LW was reading that as i saw you added it and another example as to why to have more than 1 option to lay when you need too.

I know for sure last year u had to win 5/6 grade 1 races to secure HOTY. AP did that this year with triple crown mixed in. That seals the deal no matter what.

Pretty sure AP has the title on lock down. That PC was awesome, but I defiantly like AP shipping anywhere over Beholder. Glad xpressbet was down; saved money. Is Beyern done?

Yes, Beyern is done. Never seemed like he wanted to race but when he did look out. Loved seeing him a low odds because everyone else had value.

Going to have to agree with you guys on Beyern and will throw Hoppertunity in as well that looks like is through with running. Works prior to PC said Beyern was going to fire and he did not.

DW Wed night webcast always a blast. Did not Q into it because i did not play well enough earlier in the day but Kevroc was a guest which was cool to see him and also chatting with Barry Spears (fellow devil dog APH) and Mark Alyward who is sharp and funny as hell. Just a good group of guys who flat out like to compete at everything on DW and if your not in the game there what the heck you waiting on.

Hear there is good racing at Toga this weekend
