Katama-Last at Belmont yesterday...Morley/Alvarado...MSP 75K...Went off at 11-1 and won geared down. Crazy late turn of foot where front speed has been holding and winning on the inner turf. Very impressed and doubt 11-1 next out but see good things in this horse's future...maybe an add to a virtual stable to catch on the come back. Happy Memorial weekend fellas.......OORAH

244/1 upside down has to be some kinda record.
I think I figured out they do a trip box double, so hit two tri and get mirrions.

Man F these stewards east coast and west...WTF kind of horse chit call at SA was that there after they let the one stay 2 days ago...only difference is same as first Upstart takedown at GP the jockeys acting job...jockey acted in GP and jockey acted today...VE was anticipating doing that when his hole got shut at the rail...the non take down the other day at SA the horse was 2 path 8 path 2 path and stayed but jock gets 5 days or some chit next day...Listen you freaking half a sissy stewards your what is wrong with the game...It is not your Fing dime on the line but you get to decide...F that...This needs to be left to a better system than these 3 blind mice at best. Hows everyone doin?

FWIW Baffert used the excuse there is no scale at Churchill so he couldn't be sure but he thought both Dortmund and AP had lost or barely maintained their weight heading into the Preakness.

I'm sure he will be on with Byk in the next 10 days and will be asked, but I expect the same dodge.

Ah i was over it a couple minutes afterwards i knew it could of gone either way this was just more of horse player turrets

Sluss is right that is what BB said and he will be on Byk before the Belmont but going into the 3rd leg the most important to BB he is going to show you everything and tell you nothing. BB is going to keep his cards close to his chest and i am sure there is a communication silence ordered coming out of his barn as well. Reasons are the obv and not so much and more sinister imo is the peta and other pos groups who always think they know whats best for horses and running them 3 times in 5 weeks is cruelty because at peta horse life's matter

I just hope for a race on Belmont day. I will cap it and hope each horse ends up safe and hope i see a hell of a horse race and each athlete gives their all and that is all i can ask out of them and what makes us respect some of our fav horses is just the honest effort each time they go to the track. I did not feel like CC was going to win last yr but this yr i feel AP will get it done. Watched his workout on youtube yesterday and whatever he is eating or not he is looking happy and ready and still a sob on the track and he is coming to NY to kick whoever's azz gets in his way imo.

Can anyone help me with this? There is a 10 horse race, $11,000 in the Place Pool, $2500 on the fav (approx), and $1500 on another horse and they finish 1st and 2nd. The favorite only paid $2.20 for place. Now I would think that $4,000 is paid back to the original bets leaving $7,000/2=$3,500, and therefore $3,500/$2,500 for the favorite meaning $1.40 added, meaning a total pay of $3.40, where did I got wrong or was the prizepool on TVG maybe wrong?

The track takes out, or rakes, the pools before it pays off winning bets. For WPS the take out is about 15-20% depending on the track.

The track take out for N.A. Tracks is nicely summarized here.
