good morning I haven't posted in the fourm since breeders cup, but i think i told people gomez(blame) and zenyatta but i also gave pick 4 plays and lost(frankie detorrie) took me out. Any ways i am going to las vegas this weekend for the super bowl but also to play gulfstream and santa anita and smack up the sports book because I know the dont like horse players. I can tell this because the longest time i have to wait for a drink is at the sports book. Sory for running on; the reason i am here is because I want to know if any of you can help me out. Iwant to put some poker stars money back in my account and play(it's been a while since i got my last check and i no longer deposit) just somthing like 50-100 dollars. I would be very happy if someone can help. Also if you like to play those two track or any for that matter my brothers and I love input from horse players. well thanks a lot and thanks.

My approach in that first TP pick four was off.. I'd have been better served to just put that $50 to win on my single in the 8th.

I got KO'd in the 3rd leg, so I'm going to put $30 to win on the #4 in the 8th at Turfway.

TURFWAY PARK race 8 $30 win #4

PSA: ehorsex was bought by Betcris and had it's SBR rating upgraded as a result so I decided to deposit. Debit card was rejected but echeck went thru no problem, got some good prices today and made some money, just wanted to let others know since it was news to me.

Yeah, Turfway is the only synth track that i'm currently keeping tabs on. The racing is very cheap but, i find these restricted claiming races quite easy to 'cap. The races that can make a pick four are ones with little to no pace. The outer lanes of this track are faster than the inside ones. The races where the pace is non-existent are great, you just group a bunch of late runners and cast your net. The cheap speed is very inconsistent.

Nice to see ya Bishop. Now i have wanted to study exchange wagering a ton more,i have mentioned it here a few times, but just get sidetracked. Now is that site open to US people? It appears to be pretty straight forward, and if it is what i think it will be,i might only wager this way in the future.

Now funny note i think to me anyways,is the 1st time my wife sat down, and i was explaining how the bets work to her and what have you,she asked me if she could bet a horse to finish last. Now i damn near shot beer out my nose, because to me it was funny as heck, and defeated the purpose all together of wagering. I told her about 6 months ago when i started hearing about the exchange wagring that she was a visionary and didnt know it.

I told her they need to come up with a rolling wager that carried over in the last 2 races of the day called the daily dud, where you pick the finisher of the last place finishers in the last 2 legs,at reverse board odds, and the horse must finish to qualify, actualy cross the finish line. Anyways, nice seeing you Bishop look forward to your answers, and any additional info you can provide about said site.

Just wanted to make sure i mentioned there is a PK6 carryover today of $33k at Aqueduct. I glanced at it,and outside of maybe 2 legs,it likes tougher than heck. Have a good Superbowl Sunday all,and come Thursday i get off my high horse and back to capping & wagering,i did my part for awareness.

Yeah, open to US players. I've had an account for years and never had a problem with deposit or cashout even though they were 'D' rated before the Cris purchase. I wouldn't have deposited again without the upgrade though, should be 'A' rated soon I would think. NJ exchange opens at the end of the year and California in May 2012 so hopefully it will catch on.

Wouldn't make it my only option as you will sometimes get better prices on live longshots thru the track pools. Fading overrated favs seems to be the big moneymaker. I have often done that anyway but its much easier to just bet against them then to find another horse to bet on. Juice is reasonable, as low as 1.25% if you are active and max is 5% for small occasional players. There are fees on cashouts but with money you are saving in track vig they really are inconsequential. You don't need an account to see the prices, if you want to compare to track odds just go to the site.

I had a good weekend - share a success story...

This past week I lost $1,000 at the poker tables, a pretty big hit for me. Two giant pots shipped away from me. One set-over-set and one a 7-outer on the river. Is it a bad luck streak? On to the weekend...

I have been following a horse at Freehold Raceway, A BAY BAY. This poor horse has had the 6,8,6,8,7,6 post in his last six races and if you could see the pp's the previous six posts look the same. So on Saturday not only is this horse dropped down to a winning level but finally draws the 1 post. Installed as the 3:1 ML favorite of course.

Oh am I going to tie this one up...and then Freehold cancels racing due to weather after the fourth race. This poor horse.

On to Sunday. I was a big fan of Imperialism and how he always left it all on the track. Still remember the big race he ran in the Derby behind Smarty Jones. So I see MASTER DUNKER in the Hallandale Beach at Gulfstream. He looks to be improving and is right where he belongs on the grass. Race looks pretty wide open to me, though the 10 horse looks beautiful, calm and confident in the post parade.

$10 WPS on 7.
.20 superfecta with 7 on top of a bunch.
$5 exacta box 7-10.

My luck was about to change...

Emerald Downs opens for training tomorrow, So I'm going to get up at 5:30 am and head down. Never seen horses work before so this will be quite the experience

EmD is adding Quarterhorse racing this year and will offer it similar to the level offered at Portland Meadows. About 3 races a week.

Theirs a pretty good Oregon bred Qhorse Snip N' Dale lifetime winner of near 200k. Man he is like a bullet.

Had a great time this morning at the track. Got some breakfast, walked around, watched some horses work. Good times!!!!!

Its hard to recognize horses without a number and a program, but I did overhear someone mention one horse, so I got to see Noosa Beach 16 races: 10-3-2 with 350k earnings. The horse was the champion horse last year at EmD, and was excited to be on the track today thats for sure.

Obviously its a little upsetting, its a very good horse and has posted strong beyer figures, as a fan we always want to see a horse move up and challenge better horses, but we have to remember this is a business. the Harwoods who own and train the horse run a large operation up here, and the profit they get out of Noosa Beach must be a nice buffer.

It was cool being in the "Quartershoot Cafe" which is mainly used by employees and trainers. Get to overhear some cool stuff.

Looking to Gulfstream today... it's a lot more fun for me to handicap than SA because it's not like each race has one or two definitive class favorites.

$0.50 P4:

6) 1,4,5,7,8,12
7) 2,3,6,9,10
8) 1,4,6,9,10,12

It's basically lighting money on fire, but if the entertainment + the tax right off are worth it for you then give it a shot. Of course, if the stable goes under you might not get much entertainment value. Happened to my best friend, one day his horse is running under the trainers flag because the stable couldn't pay the trainer.
