Ugh so wrong on this. Poor performance by wakeela. The pace setup was amazing for closers and deep closers. Think songbird wins tomorrow by 5lengtgs and maybe feels the whip. Ugh not sure how to play her. Think singling in p3 might be play and hope to catch a price but card at toga is extremely tough tomorrow

That was a good race today but i dont think it was as close as some made it out to be. With the 23 4/5 and 47 2/5 that was slower by a second what she does so of course she had juice in the tank. If they want to get to her they need a runner to do 22 45 and her to go with that to run her down late

I don't know how big that pick 6 ticket was that swept that pool but holy cow what a ticket it was. Be alive to 5 deep for all of it is one hell of play. The pinnacle of sweating a race. Congrats and props to whomever that could be.
Hope to reach playing that high sometime. Even if it went 10 20 ways, mucho.

Dortmund vs Chrome....Chrome had him measured whole way and won BUT for first out in 8 months that was awesome and the thing that always attracts me to the goodens and that's heart....prefer that to talent myself and Dortmund just is not in him to accept losing at anything anytime and i love that...A man that wont be beaten cant be beaten and a lot of that to Dortmund...Chrome is in form and such a classy professional. So if you like heart and class you might of liked this race

Songbird what can i say that i had not...Would of won the KYD imo and said so often itt...Know it when i see it and knew it early on with this one. To SGV's point i am not sure who can do that to her at this point. I thought CM ran and put her to a good challenge for 100 yards then when they were even Songbird was leavin...Ears pricked at the end and think i saw her ask $$Mike can we do it again. Special horse

Saratoga trip report for Sunday. Got to see the great songbird in person. Amazing race. Def sweated a little bit when carina Mia pulled right next to her and maybe slightly ahead on corner but songbird was all class. Going to take a speed demon to wear her down for a closer I believe (like frosted vs ap in last years travers). Call me crazy but I feel she could win travers or bcc classic (maybe I'm wrong but she sets super quick fractions and doesn't wear down too

Ugh was losing slightly so played a pretty big pick 3 at end of day. Used songbird as a single and planned to go all in the first race on one ticket and all on the 3rd race w another ticket however I screwed up my Betting lol bc I was drunk. Ended up going all in first race and picking 4 horses in the 3rd leg for 2 $1 tickets at 48 a piece. Lol at me... Not sure how good going all is, prolly should have tossed a few but we get 10/12 to win the race and live going to 3rd. I end up hedging and betting 10 on a few horses leaving off 2 super long shots. Well obv 2nd to last wins and I lose bet. Wanna say 4 would have paid 700ish if horse won and there was an inquiry but I knew odds were small they take down winner. No changes made and I lose pick 3. Lol bad beat but could be worse I guess.

Btw how much do you have to win to get a w-2 at the track? It's over 600 and 300x your bet amount correct? Thinking about playing a big pick 4 next week with Flintshire singled but not sure if its worth it.

Well swung and missed at Toga yesterday never a reverse K here but got payout right i believe the PK4 for 4 bits paid $2600 and looks just from a quick browse that it could be equally a sob today as usual at Saratoga.

Did ok DMR but was waiting on the 4th and read off some of the 1st timers sire stats for the 2nd and Iggys mount was hitting at 23.8% 1st out so threw a jackson at his saddle after seeing the silks and made up for Toga just like that...So moral cap for 3 hours to lose $$ or browse a few 1sters sire stats for about a minute to get paid.

Look at both late PK4 seq today see if i see anything OR i may just run the #'s again i posted yesterday because they sure were not for that date

I don't think Flintshire loses. Think betting him to win is bad at 1/9 but I'll prolly play him in some doubles and p3s.... Too bad tho everyone is prolly doing this. Think only way he loses is if he is injured or has horrendous trip but doubt that in 5 horse field.

Thoughts on Mohaymen vs destin? I'll be at saratoga. Have to see my favorite horse Mohaymen in person. I think im going to bet big on either destin or Mohaymen. Might play 2nd favorite if horse looks good in person and ready to go. Think Mohaymen at 9/5 is kinda iffy. Would want him at 5/2 or higher. Destin is a really solid horse and I feel the distance suits him much more than classic or belmont length. Think creator will be doomed by slow pace. Small field plus only one pace horse makes me think it will be slightly slow and most of creators big wins have been helped by pace. Think 47 or higher hurts him for half mile.

Pick 4 is insane. Vanderbilt, anchor down doesn't appear like a 6 furlong horse to me. Great form but I'll take a horse that likes the distance over him. Would prolly go all but him in that race. Requite, holy boss, delta (don't know his name but quick horse that is a front runner) all look like possible winners. Requite is prolly my favorite. 12-1 ml and finished 2nd at saratoga last year in a G3. One race this year and he won with high better fig. Any improvement and he could put up a solid price.

Good picks honcho! Saratoga is crazy in my opinion. Not a good place for chalk lovers like myself.
