I took lyon with +1/2 line.
Arsenal game is a tough pick. Gunners have been shakey in the back lately and not that good playing away. The team Arsenal is playing have only lost once in 34 games they have played in uefa competitions.

I was able to find this excerpt from the Uefa site:

AZ have lost just once in 34 home games in UEFA club competition, stretching back to September 1977. Everton FC ended the run on 20 December 2007, by which time AZ had left Alkmaarderhout for their current home.
Cash money w00t! I took the Arsenal game for the draw also. Anyone else won big?

Lost Liverpool, did well on Seville. What do you think for tomorrow?

As far as the question to how people decide who to bet on, it's the same approach for any sport. Try to find an edge. Soccer (football) is definantly my weak point though as I am just getting into it. Agreed that Barca had no value at all today.

Tough fixtures tomorrow but Thursday I really fancy Roma (7/5) to beat Fulham. Need to check what kind of team Roma will field and if they are taking the competition seriously though.
Lazio (23/20) against Villarreal looks decent too. Villarreal are struggling big time this season.

Re: Football (soccer) betting thread

I got Manchester United -˝ (+105)

The other bets are too close in my opinion

Real Madrid is missing C ronaldo but I might still take them -1 because of the sheer talent on the Madrid side

Ah a european soccer thread. Thanks OP.

I have a decent wager on Bayern tonight. Bordeaux are bad. Bayern are good. 2/1 is solid value. That's all that needs to be said lol

Also an accer on Bayern, Real (Milan are awful), Juventus, Wolfsburg (too strong), Porto, and Chelsea (again too strong).

You know Baye rmissing Arjen Robben (knee), Franck Ribéry (knee) right?
I don't know much about the other team thats why I didnt bet it.

Also, Chelsea is without Drogba for the match. And other key players:
Out: Alex (groin), John Mikel Obi (ankle), Michael Ballack (ankle), Bosingwa (knee)

What's an Acer?

Chelsea squad still too strong. And yes if Robben and Ribery are all I have to worry about then i can watch it in peace i.e. they still have Muller, Gomez, Schweinsteiger, Podolski etc etc haha. Still pretty strong imo
