30 mins to play in Glasgow , huge on on 1 more goal to be scored at 1.61 odds . 1-3 down , do or die now for Glasgow , either they score or they get countered and concede another one .

Have bet against Rangers tonight. Think the team they are playing offers some great value.

Hibs could be a tasty price at 7/1 to beat Rangers but its still a hard place to go and win at still a huge price though.

Re: Football (soccer) betting thread

Ended up a slight winner in Champions League ... some good games today

I'm just wondering ... how does everyone decide who they bet on? I have a feeling that most people just look at games, pick who they think will win, and bet that team no matter what the odds are ... am I wrong?

I knew this line wasn't right ... am I the only one betting on these games?

By the time I woke up Toluca were 1.80 at most places ... got as much as I could at 1.81 as the line kept shortening ... it's at 1.60 at most places now

I try to look for teams I think can win that have decent odds. Teams like Barcelona and Inter had no value in betting them. I was slightly drawn to Liverpool but decided against that as Gerard was doubtful and Torres was out.
Worth studying the teams you want to pick checking out who's out injured and recent form ect ect.

I'm not flaming. Christ. Was just trying to have some fun with a 40-1 shot getting there.

It's really not worth it in this forum sometimes
