not sure which bet ur talking about, but

russia win - more poland are weaker than russia are stronger. Poles only managed a draw vs a weak Greek team, with home adv aswell, makes me happy to discount the home factor to a degree. Russia looked really good and solid vs Czechs(altho i also see as weak). Good value on the russia line aswell

o2.5 - russia are set up very offensive minded + poles are missing szerney, who is big for them due to their weakish def. Also poles conceded 1 + a penalty to a very defensive minded Greece. Plus both teams need to go for a win to a degree - more poland than russia

Re: EURO 2012

Poland was supposed to collapse mentally against Russia. Especially looking at what happened v. Greece. But really, Poland looked like the better team.

Against the Czech Republic, Russia just looked fantastic and creative

So what happened? The reason I am asking is to get insight into the Czech vrs. Poland match.

I don't know much of anything about soccer or the Euro chs.. But from watching this group, I don't see how Poland loses vrs. the Czechs next fixture.

I am thinking Poland , Draw No Bet, vrs. CZ. I know it is some time away until this game, but this gives me time to rethink a potentially stupid bet. Is this a bad bet?

I agree that it will be over 2.5. Netherlands will attack, they are a little embarrassed and a little desperate. This will open the game up.

Dutch player gets his second yellow in the second half.

Re: EURO 2012

Den bt Por @4.7 1u
Ger bt Neth DNB @1.8 2u
Ger-Neth o2.5 @2 1u

not in love with any of these plays, but think the favourable odds just make it a +EV plays.
will maybe put a few more units on the o2.5 germany game if the line rises...

Re: EURO 2012

I think Portugal willl beat Denmark today. You have to remember that if the Dutch took half their chances they would have won 3-1. Portugal did well versus Germany and showed that when they needed to attack they could effectively. Nani and Ronaldo will give them all kinds of problems.

AS for the other match, I must say I am a big Germany fan and have followed them very closely for a long time. At their best, they are the top team here, but the simply aren't clicking at the moment. This has a lot to do with Bayern's deep CL run, Schweinstieger's lack of fitness, and Low's refusal to significantly alter his lineup (eg get rid of Podolski for Schurrle or Reus) I think the best bet for this game would be the over 2.5

Was thinking of fading you given your run but I picked the first 2 of these. Disagree totally with the last one though, think it will be a tight game, Holland were inept in front of goal in the first game and Germany dont need to go all out for a win.

Re: EURO 2012

Portugal -3 corners @ 10/11 with Betfred!

Holland -2 corners @ 23/10 with Hills!

Good points, but I think they will finish once or twice because they got their first game jitters out, and won't be nearly as cocky as they were vrs. Denmark. Teams often play their second game different, just like the Russians and Czechs did yesterday.

Germany won't go all out, but they will have counter attacks due to the Dutch going forward.

But if the first game really reflects where they are at, and wasn't an underachievement, then I guess I lose another unit.
