Spa-Port u2.5/Germ @3.01 1u

Really can't call todays game. Massively dependant on whether Ronaldo turns up, which i think he will, but still not sure of the result. See Spain having most of the possession and Portugal playing counter attack and direct football.

Re: EURO 2012

Portugal - Spain, 12-14 Corners @ 3.50, 1u
Portugal - Spain, Spain to win @ 1.90, 2u

Boring lines, contrasted to last week's bet on Italy slogging on through in the penalties... hopefully it is at least pleasant to watch.

Re: EURO 2012

Germany and Italy should be a better game to watch than todays. I do like Germany to win. They have to much fire power up front for the Italian Defense.

Ger to win @1.95 4u
Ita u0.5 @2.2 1.5u
Spa-Port u2.5/Germ @3.01 1u

really like the price on a german win tomo, plus i do not rate Italys attack, and don't see Pirlo getting the same time on the ball that he did vs England.

Re: EURO 2012

Based on current odds, Germany would be a slight favourite in the final against Spain (51-52%).

Anyone else surprised by this? Germany are much improved from 2 years ago and Spain are a bit worse due to not having an in form striker, but I still think it's a bad match-up for Germany stylistically.

I still see the match playing out in a similar fashion to 2010 (with Spain hoarding the ball) and think that Portugal matched up a lot better against Spain than Germany do.

I also think their respective styles of play may lead to the public overrating Germany and underrating Spain. Because Germany play a lot more direct they are capable of crushing opponents on a good day (like against Greece and England in Argentina in 2010). Spain on the other hand often win without looking particularly flattering, however they rarely concede goals (6 in 18 major tournament matches since Euro 2008, all in the group stage) and give away so few opportunities.

Getting ahead of ourselves, but if Germany win, who will you back in the coin flip?
