I think what he is saying is that the line should indeed be Ga -3. However, since it's -11, it must be a "trap" for Tennessee bettors, and therefore you should bet on Georgia.

...sharky has identified this as a huge trap. The line -11 will have everybody pound Tennessee which is what the bookmakers want, so the "objective" line should be at least -14 in reality if i understand sharky correctly.

A little less sure about this pick though since he doesnt base it on the teams/players/circumstances but on the given line.

when both sides of an 'off line' can make valid arguments, i tend to stay away. i have 5+ years worth of bets, and i imagine if i went back and looked at all the times i bet on a game because it was 'a trap' or better, 'the books want you to bet a certain way', it's within a point or two of 52.8%...
